“Father Knows Best”
Deuteronomy
8:3
So obey the commands of the LORD
by walking in His Ways and fearing Him. (NLT)
Our God demands our
obedience, and the Father knows best—He knows the only safe way to live in this
fallen world. Our God creates people because He wants everyone to fully experience
the joy of living. Although this leg of our eternal life-journey is quite
difficult, God promises us that it won't always be this way. He personally came
down from Heaven to tell us how to deal with this brief stay on earth and how
we can escape its darkness. God came to shine His Light of Truth upon us, which
would carry us through to the other side. Satan has spread his darkness so
thick in this fallen world that most people will never find their way through
it. They will never know the Father's Way, nor will they escape the darkness. When
Moses gave Israel the Mosaic Law it was not only designed to save the people as
a nation, but it was also designed for their personal health; to keep them safe,
clean, and alive. It was designed to
show them their dependency on God. When we follow what the Father knows is
best, we experience a life filled with satisfaction, joy, and eternal hope.
God also tells us that
fearing Him is the beginning of all true wisdom. It only makes sense that we
should fear the very One who created us, because the Creator is always greater
than that which He creates. The Lord has already destroyed the entire human
race except for one small family and He will destroy most of the human race
again before the end of this age. Only those who accept His gift of salvation
will survive. When the Lord God pours out His wrath upon this world, there will
be no place to hide and if you are not protected by the Lord, you will suffer
in the most horrible ways imaginable. If
you do not fear God my friend, it would be wise to take the time to learn why
you should, for the Truth discovered, saves.
A Whisper of Hope
I love all people, dear child...that is why I came and I died; to
save My creation. I AM not only a loving
Father, a merciful Savior, and a gracious Helper, but I AM also a perfect and
fair Judge. Those who rebel against Me
without remorse and repentance will receive what they deserve. But those who know that the Father knows
best, will receive the best of the Father!
1 Peter 4:17
For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God's
household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits
those who have never obeyed God.
(NLT)
Don't be impressed with our own wisdom.
Instead, fear the LORD and
turn your back on evil.
Then you will
gain renewed health and vitality.
(Proverbs 4:7-8)
