Darkness to Light
Psalm 146: 8
The
LORD sets the prisoners free.
The
LORD opens the eyes of the blind.
The
LORD lifts the burdens of those bent
beneath their loads.
The
LORD loves the righteous. (NLT)
The
LORD gives graciously to those who are poor in spirit. He provides everything
we need for our physical survival and our spiritual health. He sets us free from our bondage to sin and
the fear of death. He opens our eyes to
the deceitful ways of this fallen world.
He is our Burden Bearer so we can rest in His peace. He gives freely, the gift of salvation and
eternal life. Everything living depends
on the Creator for its very survival.
Without His infinite wisdom, the hardships of this difficult life would
make us crazy. Without His sovereign strength, we would never find our way out
of the darkness of this evil world. Without Jesus, we would never know the
Truth. Without the mercy and grace of
God, we would have no hope. Without the
love of God there would be no reason to live, for without the Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit this world would be in total disarray, engulfed in misery and total
darkness. Without Jesus, our lives would
have no lasting value or purpose.
The
Lord did not create us and then leave us to our own demise. He is our Father who provides and protects
everything He creates, especially His children.
When you honor God the Father, and accept the gift of salvation that God
the Son paid for with His life, and then trust God the Holy Spirit to direct
your life-journey, you will have found the reason you were created—you will have
found what it truly means to live! You
are no longer a slave to your sinful nature.
You are no longer held captive by the fear of our own mortality. When you give God the burdens that
continually wear you down and rob your joy, you will experience the peace of
God that will get you Home safely.
A
Whisper of Hope
I
AM, dear child...your Light in this dark world. I AM the only Way out of the evil that has
griped this world. I AM your Savior,
Protector, and Comforter. I can bear all
your burdens and free you up so you can enjoy the life I have given you.
Matthew 11:30
Then
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary
and
carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
(NLT)
God is Light and there is no darkness
in Him at all.
(1 John
1:5)
