Wise Wisdom
Proverbs 1:7
Fear of the
LORD is beginning of knowledge.
Only fools
despise wisdom and discipline. (NLT)
The Book of Proverbs is a
collection of wisdom from our LORD God to help people develop the skills they
would needed for godly living. It is a
book of comparisons between common, yet solid images of life’s most profound
truths, and God’s unchangeable Truth.
Most people, especially those who have lived long lives upon the earth,
know that having wise knowledge certainly helps us extend our lives and quality
of living. All of us can make statements
about life and truth based on what we have learned and personal experiences,
but only those who live in the Truth of God’s Word have the ultimate
knowledge—knowledge that fills their hearts with the peace and joy because they
know what the future holds for God's children.
This wisdom saves us from a lifestyle of sin that, if not corrected,
eventually leads to hell. Christians
worldwide know how terrible and hopeless this world would be without the first
coming of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Christians also know how hopeless and lost they were before Jesus
rescued them from the darkness.
Christians learn the Truth
by reading the Bible with the Holy Spirit giving them understanding. And what incredible, never before realized
insight and joy we receive from God’s Word—Truth that sets us free from
following the lies of this wicked world.
But sadly, most people will study and follow the ways of this wicked
world, only to receive more of the same old hopeless lies that brings them even
more doubt and anxiety, which causes even more frustration and hopelessness and
defeat. The Son of God shines brightly
in this dark and evil world, touching hearts and bring hope to those who are
deceived and lost, and hopeless and afraid.
The hope we have in Jesus is the deepest, most profound hope that that
the world has ever seen, for it has the power to transform any life and bless
them with peace and joy that will ease their pain and comfort their souls until
He comes to take them Home.
A Whisper
of Hope
Live
in Me, My child...for only then
will you find truth and life. Without Me
leads to heartbreak, disappointment, and finally death, forever separated from
Me and never again seeing the light.
Job 28:28
And
this is what He says to all humanity: The fear of the Lord
is
true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding. (NLT)
“I am the Light of the world.”
(John 8:12; John 9:5)
