                              “Heaven Rewards”
1 Peter 1:3-4
Now we live with a wonderful expectation because Jesus Christ rose
again from the dead.  For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for
His children.  It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond
the reach of change and decay.  And God, in His mighty power, will
protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting Him.  (NLT)

From the moment sin entered into our world, life has become an everyday struggle just trying to stay alive, leaving little time for anything else, because there are just too many unplanned difficulties and hardships that seem to take the joy out of living.  Disasters are always lurking around every corner, whether they are natural disasters, manmade disasters, or self-inflicted disasters.  And every day we face the realities of sickness and death; two realities that are common in this world and no one is spared.  Life is hard and difficult for most, and yet, we do whatever it takes to hang on just one more day.  I have often wondered what it is about this difficult life filled with so much misery, that makes most people want to hang on to it.  The world is not a friendly place.  It does its best to beat us down and take what little joy we can find.
There are a couple of main reasons why people cling to this life.  The first being that God designed into the very fiber of who we are, the desire to live forever and enjoy it.  The second, being a bit bleaker, is it's our fallen human nature to fear the unknown—that this life may be the only life we have--or even worse, will we suffer the final consequences for our bad behavior?
The Lord masterfully created life on earth and it was good.  But because of one bad angel and one man’s disobedience, all of creation paid the price.  And so it is that sin and death are now an imminent part of living in this world that cries out for justice—cries that the Lord has heard and answered.  For when our Savior returns to the earth the second time, He will get rid of the bad and make all things new.  He has promised to create a new Heaven and earth as it was intended to be—perfect in every way; void of pain and sorrow and the stench of death. When you truly believe in God’s eternal plan for you, my friend, you will long to be with Jesus and will no longer live in fear of death, because you will know that all your hardships and struggles, your pain and sorrow, and all our fears and failures will not have been in vain.

                                       A Whisper of Hope
Remember My child…that you live in a fallen world where nothing is as it was created to be.  Much frustration and failure will result from your seeking perfection in this life.  There is nothing perfect about this world but Me.  This is why your closeness to Me not only satisfies the deep eternal yearnings you have, but it will also fill your troubled life with joy and peace.

1 Peter 1:13
Look forward to the special blessings that will
come to you at the return of Jesus Christ.  (NLT)

                        Take delight in the LORD,
and He will give you your heart’s desires.
                               (Psalm 37:4)

                                “Alive in God”
 Deuteronomy 30:20
“That you may love the LORD your God,
that you may obey His voice, and that you
may cling to Him, for He is your life and
the length of your days.”  (NKJ)

Apart from the love of God there is only disappointment and darkness, and it matters not how rich or famous, or how poor or unknown you may be, because living without God is not living at all.  Without the Lord, the universe and everything in it would be nothing but endless chaos—no life.  No sunrises or sunsets, no oceans or mountain streams, no lush forests teaming with wildlife, nor any fragrance or colors to pleasure our senses.  There would be neither gentle breezes nor refreshing rains.  No music, no joy, no laughter, no children, no love, and no hope.  Without our amazing God there would be absolute nothingness.  And without God’s unconditional love, mercy and grace, life on this earth would not be very pleasant; it would be nothing more than a dark and painful struggle to survive—a struggle that no one would survive.  When you chose to live your life without acknowledging there is a God, you are living in denial; not wanting to admit your weakness, believing you are the one in charge and this life is all about you.
When you choose the world over God you are living the life of a fool, because living apart from the Creator will ultimately lead to some very dire and very long lasting consequences.  When people rely solely on the physical world and others, this life becomes rather frivolous because the earth and everything in it will one day pass away.  The only thing to be gained by living and dying apart from the living God of Creation is eternal darkness, forever separated from the Light to live in an all-consuming darkness with much pain and suffering and no chance to escape.   If you have not chosen to live in the Way of the Lord, there is no better time than now to connect with Christ Jesus, your Lord God and Savior.  Surrender to Him and He will give you a new and better life—one that is truly alive and one that is everlasting.  Now is the time, because tomorrow may be too late!

                                          A Whisper of Hope
I Am…the Way, the Truth, and the key to eternal life.  Without Me, your life-journey in this world will not end well, my child.  Life without the Living God is no life to live, for it becomes all about everything that will one day disappear.  I created your life to be eternal, and apart from me there is no joy, nor will you find any peace.  The world tries to draw you away from Me, but do not be fooled, for this life is but a breath; eternity is forever!

Matthew 16:25-26
If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose
it. But if you give up your life for Me, you will find true
life. And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world
but lose your own soul in the process?  Is anything worth
more than your soul?  (NLT)

For You are the Fountain of Life,
the Light by which we see!

                             “Our Best”
 Isaiah 49:6
He says, “You will do more than restore the people
of Israel to me.  I will make you a Light to the Gentiles,
and you will bring My salvation to the ends of the earth.”  (NLT)

From the beginning God has been our Provider and Redeemer.  He promised to send a Savior who would bring salvation to all people of this fallen world, and He sent His Son to do just that.  Our Creator knows us completely.  The Lord knows our every weakness, but He also knows what our strengths are,  He knows everything we need and don't need.  Because our Almighty God is sovereign over every detail of His creation, He knows how dependent we are on Him as our Provider and Protector.  We have an awesome God who never gave up on the human race.  He took matters into His own hands and rescued us from the selfish, sinful desires that lead to self-destruction—desires that lead us into to eternal death and darkness.
Our Lord God is both gracious, merciful, and His lovingkindness reaches to the ends of the Earth.   And the better we understand this, the more sense it makes to keep our focus on Christ Jesus,  our Lord God and Savior.  As you focus on the Lord  and all that He is to us, it becomes  natural to praise and exalt Him as the Lord Most High.  And the higher you exalt God, the more you will praise Him, and the closer He draws you to Himself.  By knowing the Infinite God who created you and what He voluntarily endured for you so you could escape the dark pits of Hell, you should never let a day go by without thanking Him from the depths of your heart.  He deserves no less; He deserves our best.

                                         A Whisper of Hope
I am the Resurrection and the Life…Most people search for life in all the wrong places.  They chase after fleeting pleasures by accumulating possessions and wealth, not thinking of the inevitable.  Unlike the world, I freely offer to all people an abundant Life that never ends, especially those who are overwhelmed, weary, lost and hopeless.

1 Samuel 2:1
My heart rejoices in the LORD; My strength is exalted in the LORD.
I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation.  (NKJ)

You will keep him in perfect peace,
                     all who trust in You.

                         “In Glory We Stand”
 Isaiah 60:19
No longer will you need the sun to shine by day,
nor the moon to give its light by night, for the
LORD your God will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.  (NLT)

It is an awesome feeling knowing with certainty that you, a mere human being who has made many mistakes through ungodly choices, will one day share in the glory of God.  For me, just thinking about that day gives me a peace in my heart that is unlike any peace that this fallen world has to offer.  Knowing that our Creator and Savior provided the way for us to have the opportunity to share in His eternal glory always puts new life and new hope in our hearts!  Even as this world continues spinning out of control, those who belong to God are safely in the hands of our Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ.  The Lord not only provides us with the strength to persevere when this difficult life is getting the best of us, but He also gives us the wisdom and the willingness to help and comfort those who have given in to the darkness of this fallen world and are succumbing to their pain and hopelessness.
But the Good News is, our Savior, Jesus Christ, has overcome this evil world, and no matter how hard or difficult this fallen world makes this life, the hope we have in Jesus, will be our Rock and our Refuge; a place where we can find rest for our weary souls, so we can stand strong and steadfast in our faith that God is God and the everlasting hope He promises cannot be taken away. This incredible inheritance is both a privilege and an honor, and a blessed gift that was dearly paid for.

                                      A Whisper of Hope
Be still, My child… and know that I AM God.  There is absolutely nothing in this universe that is more powerful nor more gracious than I Am.  One day you will discover how wide, how long, how high and how deep My Love is, but until that day you must trust in My Word.

Psalm 62:5-8
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him.
He alone is my Rock and my salvation, my Fortress where I will
not be shaken.  My victory and honor come from God alone. He
is my refuge, a Rock where no enemy can reach me.  (NLT)

For as the waters fill the sea,
the earth will be filled with an awareness
of the glory of the LORD.                                                                    (Habakkuk 2:14)

                                “Call Me Hope”
 Lamentations 3:24
The LORD is my portion, says my soul,
Therefore I have hope in Him.  (NKJ)

The biggest influence in my life that caused me to lose heart and assume a defeated position was the futility I felt in relying and hoping in this world to satisfy my needs, because it is unstable, out of control, and in flux—here today and gone tomorrow.  When I finally accepted that this short life had no lasting value, I decided to escape into the darkness and hide in my depression and defeat.  I now understand that Lord God allows many of us to reach this point of hopelessness in order to set the stage for His redeeming Truth that is desperately needed in our world .  And as I began to understand the absolutes truths about this life and its final outcome, it was obvious that my only hope was trusting in the ways that God provided for us; though His Word and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our infinite Savior is the only One who can save us from the dark endings of this wayward world.
Traveling through this life-journey by trusting in the absolute principles of our Lord God is the only way to live this short life.   But there is one absolute principle that stood out and gave me the most hope in my hopelessness, and that was knowing nothing would ever separate me from God’s love.  Once you know and believe in God’s unchanging Truth, my friends, your life-journey on this earth will no longer be lived in vain. Instead, you will enjoy a God-driven, purpose-filled life with glorious meaning and eternal value.  The living God is your best and only Hope, because He has prepared an awesome eternal life-journey for all those who call Him their Hope.

                                            A Whisper of Hope
Put your Hope in Me…For when you do I will reside in the depths of your heart.  It is then that My Hope will begin to reign in you.  You will not find an ounce of lasting hope or peace in the world around you, in the circumstances you create, or in any human relationships you may acquire.  I Am your Hope.

1 Peter 1:21
Through Christ you have come to trust in God.
And you have placed your faith and hope in God,
because He raised Christ from the dead and give
Him great glory.  (NLT)

I Am the LORD and I do not change!

                                 “Peace in God”
Habakkuk 3:18-19
I will rejoice in the LORD.  I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.
The Sovereign LORD is my strength!  He will make me as surefooted
as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.  (NLT)

No matter how difficult our circumstances may be and no matter how unfair this world treats us, there will always be reason for believers to rejoice in our Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Because of His great love and compassion for us, the Son of God has made it possible for anyone to come into the very presence of the living God.  The salvation of mankind is a gift from God; one that is graciously offered to anyone, no matter what our past mistakes have been.  Without the Robe of Christ covering our sinful flesh it would be impossible for any human being to stand blameless before our Holy God.
It is because of the Lord God’s unchangeable attributes that we can fully trust Him with our lives, even when we are deeply trapped in the chaos of darkness that engulfs this world.  The better you know the Lord Jesus Christ, the better you will understand your personal  circumstances and the more peace you will have about them.  And even though there will be times when it is hard to understand why God allows bad things to happen, we can be confident that He will guide us safely over the rugged peaks of our life-journey at the proper time and according to His good will.  To receive the promise of God’s gift of salvation is a great event to celebrate and praise our awesome God for.  And always remember my friends, that having the power of God behind you is having a secure and rewarding life-journey that will take you Home where you belong.

                             A Whisper of Hope
Be glad, My child…that your life-journey is not in vain.  It is a learning process that will teach you the glories of life even though you must suffer for awhile.  I came to snatch you from the grips of Satan and his fallen world and to lead you on the only path that leads to an everlasting life with Me.  This is My promise; I give you My Word.

Ephesians 2:4
But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so very
much, that even while we were dead because of our
sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ form the dead.  (NLT)

His peace will guard your hearts
                         and minds in Christ Jesus.

                                          “No More Shame”
 Psalm 32:5
Finally, I confessed all my sins to You and stopped
trying to hide them.  I said to myself, “I will confess
my rebellion to the LORD.”And You forgave me!
All my guilt is gone.  (NLT)

There are many people who are loaded down with enough guilt and shame that it would easily bring an elephant to its knees.  There was a time in my life when I understood very little about the nature of sin nor did I realize its negative effect on our character and the dire consequences it has on our lives.  Although God built into the fibers of our being the moral differences between right and wrong, we are nonetheless, natural born sinners who cannot control nor overcome our sinful behavior on our own. And because of our weakness to refrain from sin, many people succumb to the battle and medicate the pain of their failures with more sin. There are still others who take pleasure in their sinful rebellion, defying the authority of God and are proud about it. And so, it continues, the stumbling about in the darkness of ignorance or the blatant pleasure of it. Either way, the consequences are never good.
What an amazing miracle it is that we have a Savior who left the glory of Heaven to touch us in such an unconditional and forgiving way that our guilt and shame and bondage to sin can be removed forever so we can live this life with purpose and joy.  Because of the blood of Christ Jesus our sins are forgiven and the guilt and shame of our past is nailed to the Cross of Christ.  God has given His Word and His Spirit to help us heal from our dark past of wicked deeds so we can start a relationship with the Lord God who created us and saved us.

                                 A Whisper of Hope
Be not afraid, my child…for there is nothing that you have done or said that I don’t already know.   Be not anxious or worried when you come to Me, for I Am a forgiving God, One whose nature is to forgive and save that which is lost.  Let Me fill you with My life saving power so I can heal your wounded heart and give you hope—hope that will set you free from the bondage of sin so you can live with peace and joy!

1 John 1:8-9
If we say we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves
and not living in the truth.  But if we confess our sins to
Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to
cleanse us from all wickedness.  (NLT)

                         Oh, what joy for those
         whose rebellion is forgiven.

                            “Learning His Way”
Psalm 25:5
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation. (NLT)

I began to believe and trust in the Lord God when the Holy Spirit revealed just what it was that our Savior, Jesus Christ did for me personally, not to mention what He accomplished for the entire world.  The Holy Spirit helped me understand the pain and suffering that Jesus volunteered for and fully accepted on our behalf.  Whenever I meditate on what our Lord gave up to come live in this sin infected world as the final sacrificial Lamb of God, I experience an awesome peace knowing that I am safely in God's hands.  We may not fully understand what the Lord puts before us, but we can fully trust that whatever it is, it will transform your life, and give you the strength to persevere the world.
It is not easy to trust, especially if this life has brought us a lot of pain, suffering, unhappiness, and disappointment.  As a new Christian, I found it extremely hard to trust in someone I could not see, touch, or audibly hear.  But as I began to learn and understand the nature of God, I slowly began to learn how to trust Him one circumstance at a time.  Trusting in the Jesus, my friends, is a life-saving, life-changing decision.  It's hard to describe the joy and peace that this one decision has given me, but I can tell you that Jesus pulled me out of the darkness and hopelessness that I had been trapped in most of my life.  And now, my new life in Christ Jesus is a life that is truly worth living.

                                A Whisper of Hope
It is possible, My child…to find the true peace and joy even in the midst of the darkness that has consumed this world.  In fact, My Light shines the brightest when your life is filled with suffering and pain, or stress and frustration, or discouragement and doubt.  Lift up your empty hands in faith and I will fill them with My Hope.

 1 John 2:27
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you,
so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true.  For the Spirit
teaches you all things, and what He teaches is true—it is not a lie.
So continue in what He has taught you, and continue to live in Christ.  (NLT)

He leads the humble in doing right,
                teaching them His way.
                       (Psalm 25:9)

                  “Our Protector”
 Psalm 125:2
Just as the mountains surround and protect Jerusalem,
so the LORD surrounds and protects His people, both
now and forever.  (NLT)

When we entrust our lives to God, He never lets our circumstances or our temptations become so great that we cannot endure or overcome them.  Living in this fallen world will never be free from pain suffering, heart break, sorrow, confusion, deception, fear, or doubt.  But by having the faith to trust that our awesome God is who He says He is, and that He will do what He says He will do, we become His protected children.  Persistent perseverance of faith is what defines us as His children.  The spiritual discipline we learn to develop in the midst of all the challenges that we face daily is priceless.  This discipline not only strengthens our faith and courage, but it also plays an important role in shaping our moral and spiritual character.  Temptations and trials are necessary in order for us to develop and live by the godly characteristics that were given to us by our Lord God, Jesus Christ.
So be encouraged and find comfort, my friends, in knowing that our Savior left His Home in Heaven to endure the same kind of hardships and temptations that we all must face in this difficult and evil world.  Jesus did this to not only to save us, but to teach us how to life a solid godly life.  Our Lord courageously set an excellent example for us to live by—one of endurance and perseverance in the face of persecution.  God will never allow anything in the lives of His children that they cannot deal with.  We have a Sovereign Savior we can fully trust to be our everlasting Protector.

                                         A Whisper of Hope
Rely on Me, dear child…to be both your Guide and Protector.  It is through your trials that I am able to build a godly character in you. I will equip you with everything you need in order to persevere and win the battles against the evil forces that want to enslave you and then destroy you.  You cannot do it alone.  With Me, you will travel your life-journey safely in the shadow of My wings.

1 Corinthians 10:13
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.
And God is faithful.  He will not allow the temptation to be more that you can
stand.  When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.  (NLT)

When your endurance is fully developed,
you will be strong in character
                     and ready for anything.
                                (James 1:4)

                          “Hope in Christ”
 Revelation 7:16-17
“They will never again be hungry or thirsty; and they will never
be scorched by the heat of the sun.  For the Lamb on the throne
will be their Shepherd.  He will lead them to springs of life-giving
water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”  (NLT)

There is no better promise than these prophetic words spoken by the risen Jesus to the apostle John while he was a prisoner exiled on the island of Patmos.  There is nothing in this world that can offer us this kind of hope for the future, because King Jesus will return in glory to judge and rule His Kingdom on earth forever.  It is our God-given nature to look ahead and hope for better days, especially for those of us who find ourselves struggling just to keep our heads above water.  But unfortunately, there are those who are experiencing the better days of prosperity now, which leaves them addicted to the pleasures of this sinful world and fighting to get more before they die.  And in this fallen state of immediate pleasure, these misguided people will almost always end up wondering if their pleasure is all there is to this very short life that ends in death and nothing else.
It was not until I understood just how fleeting this worldly life is without Jesus that I realized how my life-style was nothing more than a nightmare that had no end.  But now I know and believe in the Truth of God’s Word—the promise of a new and better life and and the hope for many wonderful future days that can neither be taken away nor will they ever end.  The hope that our Lord God, Christ Jesus has been promising throughout the ages, has changed my life of hopelessness, doubt and meaningless despair into a life of joy-filled truth with eternal purpose.  The world now has the Good News that saves, my friends.  Believe and trust in His Promise of eternal life, because Jesus came to give us life, not to take it away.

                                            A Whisper of Hope
My Promise of Peace and Joy…is yours, My child; Promises that you can build a good life on.  I purchased this promise for you with My blood and by suffering beyond anything that you can imagine.  You receive this promised gift by trusting and believing in Me.

John 6:35
And Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life.
He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he
who believes in Me shall never thirst.”  (NKJ)

                    “The Message”
 1 Timothy 2:4-6
For He wants everyone to be saved and to understand the Truth.
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile
God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus.  He gave His life to
purchase freedom for everyone.  This is the message that God gave
to the world at the proper time.  (NLT)

This message from our Lord God is a message of incredible Good News and it’s for the entire world.  It's a message of hope and salvation that is available for every living person—a message of eternal life.  Our Savior wants no one to suffer the eternal condemnation that sin brings.   Because God is love, He despises the eternal consequences that sin brings to the people He creates.  So God sent us hope in a Redeemer; the Savior of the World—the Son, Jesus Christ, who reconciled the relationship between God and man.  Because we are all natural born sinners, we fall short of the holy standard God sets for us.  Sadly, ever since the Devil deceived the first man and woman into disobeying God, this fallen world reeks of sin and thrives on everything wicked and evil.
There are many of us, including myself, who go through most of our lives unaware that we are living in sin.  And because of the abounding mercy and grace of our loving God, He pulls us out of the muck and mire of our sins and teaches us how to live a godly life. How awesome it is that we have a Redeemer and a Savior, who invites us to be cleansed and forgiven so we can live in fellowship with God.  And it is only by living in Christ Jesus, that you will no longer be controlled by the power of sin—sins that lead to eternal darkness and death.  Living in the Light of Jesus Christ exposes the lies and deceit that has enslaved our world in sin.  Live in the Light, my friends; be freed from the power of sin.

                                  A Whisper of Hope
I Am Truth…my child, the only One who cannot lie.  I do not change the truth to meet My needs like this world does.  Although the world is under the siege of deception, where sin is pleasure and evil is good, there is hope for those who hunger for the Truth.  And this hope is found in Me.

Isaiah 33:21-22
The LORD will be our Mighty One.  He will be like a wide river of protection
that no enemy can cross.  For the LORD is our judge, our lawgiver, and our King.
He will care for us and save us.  (NLT)

If you do this, you will experience God’s peace.
                         (Philippians 4:7)

                             “God’s Peace”
Psalm 4:8
I will lie down in peace and sleep,
For You alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.  (NLT)

There is no better way to live this difficult life than turning it over to the Lord our God and trusting Him to guide you in all circumstances.  We were not created with enough ability to deal with and overcome every circumstance that is put before us, especially those circumstances that are beyond our control.   Humbly admitting that we are not in control is never an easy thing for most people, because we like to think we are in control even when we are not.  And when all that we know how to do fails, we tend to lose hope and at the end of our frustrating day we cannot sleep.  And when we cannot sleep our health will fail, which causes anxiety and depression to set in.  When we give our lives to the Lord, we are asking Him to personally guide us through our life-journey and we learn to trust Him, for He is our life-line to better living in this world and in the next perfect one.
It was only after I turned my decaying life over to God that I was able to get up in the morning without dreading the days outcome, because I knew that no matter what the day brought, that the Lord would be with me and my life was safely in His hands.  When we rely on the Author of Life to guide us through all of our circumstances, it will lighten the burdens we bear so we can move through the day with confidence. And at the end of our day we are able to sleep in peace knowing that the Lord is watching over us.  But even though we are safely in God’s hands, life in this fallen world will continue to be hard and unpredictable until He takes us Home.  The greatest Hope we have, whether we wake up to face another day or not, is that we will be in the presence of the Living God when we awaken.

                                    A Whisper of Hope
Rely on Me in faith, My child... so you can travel your life-journey safely in My hands.  This day was graciously given to you.  Rejoice in it, refusing to worry about what lies ahead.  Pray in faith and I will keep you safe.

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  (NASB)

Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually
grant you peace in every circumstance.

feet, and a Light for my path.  (NKJ)

In this brief leg of our life-journey, there are many paths before us.  When we are born into this world, the paths that we follow are chosen for us because we are unable to provide for ourselves.  But when we come of age and live somewhere where we are able to decide on a path, most people choose a path that will give us a good living without a lot of effort. Some choose to follow a safe path that someone else has already paved, and some choose a path that is exciting and adventurous and dangerous—paths that challenge us.  But whatever path is taken, there is only one Guide who will lead you on a life-journey that will fill our heart with everlasting joy and peace; one sustains us in the trials and tribulations that living in this fallen world always brings.  It's the only path that leads to godly living and everlasting life in the light of God’s glory.
This incredible, eternal path, my friends, will take you on a life-journey unlike anything this world has to offer.  It is a glorious journey that is good for us and good for the world, and it just keeps on getting better.  And unlike the many paths of this fallen world, this one is guaranteed by God.  When you allow the Creator of life to direct your path, you will be blessed with the promise that no matter what obstacles stand in your way, or how dark it becomes, or how many wrong turns you make, your Sovereign Guide will never abandon you nor will He ever forsake you.  The first leg of this life-journey is never easy, but a God-driven journey will get you Home safely.

                                           A Whisper of Hope
Let Me guide your way, dear child…for I will lead you safely Home.   Walk with Me and learn to live above your circumstances, for My glorious Light shines brightly on those who follow the righteous path of eternal life.  Chose the perfect Guide and the path to Heaven, and you find peace.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.  (NKJ)

He guides me in the paths of righteousness
                         for His name’s sake.

                             “Having Faith”
 Romans 1:17
This Good News tells us how God makes us right
in His sight.  This is accomplished from start to finish
by faith.  It is through faith that a righteous person has life.  (NLT)

Every person born into this world lives by faith, because no matter what our beliefs, we live each day as if there will be a tomorrow and the day after and so on.  Every day we get out of bed and go to work with faith that we will return home.  We turn on the coffee maker in faith that it will give us a cup of coffee.  We start our car in faith that it will work and not blow up.  Every day we entrust our lives to so many people we don’t know; people working in a hospitals, or the pharmacy, or restaurants, or when we get on an airplane.  So why then do most of us have trouble trusting in the One who created us and this beautiful world to sustain us?  Why is it so hard for us to believe and trust in the Living God who gave us his life and the promise of salvation?
Our Almighty God lovingly created us to depend on him for life.  But when the first people Adam and Eve sinned, we became separated from our Creator.  And mankind began to depend on this fallen world, rather than God.  So God sent his Son to pay the final price for our rebellion—we can now come back into the holy presence of the living God.  We can trust Him to take excellent care of us.  The Lord, has not only given us the opportunity to humble ourselves and admit our dependency on Him as our Good Shepherd in this unpredictable and harsh world, but He has also given us His good works and life, which if accepted, gives us everlasting life in Heaven as well.  When we walk through our life-journey in faith that God is who He says He is, and that He will do what He promises He will do, we walk in confidence knowing we are safe.  Our loving God is the only One you should trust with your life.  So take a leap of faith, my friend, and step up to take the hand of God!  You'll be so glad you did.

                                          A Whisper of Hope
Trust in Me, dear child…by relinquishing control of your life-journey into My hands.  Let go, and realize that I Am God.  This is My world.  I made it and I control it.  You can achieve a life worth living  by living in faithful dependence on Me.  So live in Me and I will fulfill the desires of your heart.

Romans 5:1-2
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith,
we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has
done for us.  Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place
of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully
look forward to sharing God’s glory.  (NLT)

So you see, it is impossible to please God
                    without faith. (Hebrews 11:6)
