“Fountain of Life”

 Psalm 36:7

How precious is your unfailing love, O God!

All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings.  (NLT)

     What I find so incredible about the Lord our God, is that every person who walks on the face of this earth, no matter who they are or where they live or what they believe in, we all have the opportunity to find those strong and faithful, out stretched arms of the Almighty God.  He is the only One who has the power and wisdom to protect and fulfill the hopes and dreams of anyone who would just trust and believe in the Way of His Son, Christ Jesus.  I know and believe that the Lord has always watched over and protected my life, even though I lived most of it doubting His ways and refusing to rely on Him for anything.   Instead, I put my hope in the lies of this world and trusted it ways to meet my needs and to give me the hope of a better and fulfilling life down the road. 

    Because I chose to live apart from God, I suffered the consequences of my worldly choices, which with time, left me feeling letdown and betrayed.   And when I finally crashed, I knew my hope had run out and there was no way out of the darkness  that was plotting my destruction.  But unbeknownst to me, God was always there making sure I stayed alive, because He loved me enough to save me from dying in my sin.  And after this world had chewed me up and spit me out for dead, the Good Shepherd reached out and with His mighty arms pulled me from the grips of Hell and certain death.   And it was there in His arms, as He held me exhausted and worn down, that I experienced the incredible comfort and peace of God while He skillfully put me back together again.  And then He set my feet firmly on the road to recovery that gave my life a purpose worth living for.  We have an awesome God, my friends, a Righteous and Loving Savior who is the Fountain of Life and the Light of the world.  Run to Him while you can!

                                              A Whisper of Hope

I AM always with you...My child, watching and listening for your cries of help.  Never doubt My sovereign abilities to protect and comfort you in the struggles of this difficult life.  I AM your strength whenever you are weak.  I AM your Healer when you are hurt.  I AM your Shepherd when you are lost.  And I AM your Redeemer when you sin.  Never doubt that I AM who I AM, your Everything.

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory

 and the majesty.  Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O LORD,

and this is Your kingdom.  We adore You as the One who is over all things.  (NLT)

                     For You are the Fountain of Life, 

                      the Light by which we see.
