“Humble Ways”

 Psalm 25:9

He leads the humble in what is right,

teaching them His way.  (NLT)

     Humility is never easy for most people, because this humanistic world teaches us that humanism and worldly wisdom is how it is, which is opposite from God's ways, especially when it comes to what is good and what is not.  When we rely on our fallen human wisdom the results are always the same disastrous results, because they always led us further from the Truth of God and deeper into the lies of the Enemy.  By giving us the wisdom to make the right choices, the Lord has graciously given us all the we need to live a righteous spiritually healthy life.  The Lord does not force us to choose His true wisdom, but when you choose the wisdom of God, you are choosing life.  When you choose the world's wisdom you are choosing eternal death.

        Our sovereign and righteous God has given us everything we need to live a good and pleasing life that only get better and will last forever.  It is because of God's great love for man that He has given us his written Word for learning the Way, His life that purchased our salvation that we could never earn, and his Holy Spirit to guide and protect us in this dark world that hates Jesus.   The Lord does not force His will upon us, but He makes it readily available for anyone who asks.  Because for anyone to make sense out of the created order of things we must first know and believe in the infinite Creator, our Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and accept His sovereign rule over the entire creation.  We must humbly admit that we are not gods and that we need the True and Living God for everything.  If you are hungry for the Truth, my friend, then humbly come to the One who created the Truth.  It will be the most humbling experience of your life. 

                                         A Whisper of Hope

Come humbly…My child, for I know all things, including what is best for you.  I will never lead you astray, nor will I withhold My good will from you.  I have given you My Word for right living and My Spirit to guide and teach you, for the Enemy of your soul is clever and his ways are deceitful.  Hold firm to the Truth and I will guide you safely as you head for Home.

1 Corinthians 3:18-21

Stop fooling yourselves.  If you think you are wise by this world’s

standards, you will have to become a fool so you can become wise by

God’s standards.  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God.  (NLT)

          

                Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, 

                                  and He will exalt you.
