                           “In His Grip”
 Numbers 14:9
Do not rebel against the LORD, and don’t
be afraid of the people of the land.  (NLT)

Rebelling against God is to sin against His holy ways.  We are living in rebellion whenever we ignore God and live anyway we want.  But God is always with those who submit to His Authority.  He is always there ready to help and guide us through this difficult life.  We can trust our Creator and Savior, because He had a Plan in place to save us from our rebellion before He created us. The Lord commands us to be holy, but we cannot because our sinful cravings are stronger than our fallen wills.   Our Holy God came to us as a man of flesh and blood to live a sinless life so He could become the final Sacrificial Lamb of God, taking away the sins of the world.  The righteousness of Jesus is now our own righteousness, if we so desire.  When we accept the death and resurrection of Jesus as our own, we become a new creation, clothed in perfection and justified by the blood of Jesus.
When you are one with the Savior, you need never fear anything or anyone again, because Jesus has defeated the worst and most dangerous enemies you have (sin and death).  Your Savior has set you free from the evil power of sin and fearing the unknown.  The powers of darkness are powerless against the holiness of God that is yours and nothing can take you away from God's mighty grip.  One day all of the evil and darkness will be removed from this world, but until that day, my friend, walk with Christ Jesus and fear no one but the Author and Finisher of Life.

                                    A Whisper of Hope
You will live in peace, dear child…when you live in Me. Do not turn away in rebellion, for you cannot fight and defeat the Enemy alone.  When you do you lose.  You must depend on Me, instead of foolishly going your own way.   Run into My arms and be saved!

2 Corinthians 1:9-10
In fact, we expected to die.  But as a result, we learned not to rely on ourselves,
but on God who can raise the dead.  And He did deliver us from mortal danger.
And we are confident that He will continue to deliver us.  (NLT)

But if you keep turning away and rebelling,
you will be destroyed by your enemies.

                    “Truth or Consequence”
 Psalm 36:1
Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts.
they have no fear of God to restrains them.  In their
blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really
 are.  (NLT)

One of the best deterrents for not doing things you know are wrong, is fearing the consequences of being caught before you do it.  Stiff penalties for breaking the laws of the land keep normal people from committing crimes, but those who have no fear of authority do whatever they feel like doing.  The same can be said about breaking God's Laws.  When we know what God requires of us and what our unrepentant sin brings to the table, we are more apt to doing what is good in the eyes of God than not.  But when we don't know God, we always do what our evil nature desires, because there is no fear of the Lord.   This world is so far removed from God that most people spend their entire lives sinning without knowing it.  They live in the ways of this fallen world unaware of God's absolute truths.  They blindly follow the lusts of their carnal flesh without really knowing how evil they are really living and how dire the consequences are until it's too late.  What this world deems as right and good is (in the eyes of God) sin, which is punishable by eternal death if not forgiven.
I lived like so many people do; blindly living this life knowing little about God's absolute truth and not really concerned about the consequences.  When we live without Truth or consequences, it's hard to discern right from wrong, or good from bad.  When you believe this life is all about your happiness and success, the devil has you right where he wants you—denying God and not fearing His Truth.  The key to understanding your life, is the fear of the Lord, for He is the One who gives you life and He is the only One who can take it away.  Without the fear of eternal consequences, you will live however you please.  When you don't have to answer to a Higher Authority, you become that authority.  You become your own god, but one that dies.  Living apart from God my friend, is both foolish and deadly.  Know the Truth, believe in it, and live by it, because that is living.

                                     A Whisper of Hope
Be wise, My child…and fear the Lord your God, for only I can take away the life I gave you.  It is wise to know the Truth and fear the consequences.  There are many voices, but only One Truth. Living  God's way will bring good consequences.  Living anything else, will not!

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God
is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.  (NLT)

                            “Victory Sings”
 Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become
my salvation.  He is my God and I will praise Him.  (NKJ)

The LORD did not create us to be self-sufficient, nor did He put us in a vast universe and then leave us to chance.  We are a product of Gods marvelous creativity.  We are living human beings created in His image, with a purpose and a place in God’s Eternal Plan.  We are created by God for God's glory.  We have many of the same emotions, desires, and attributes of our Creator, but we lack His infinite wisdom and His sovereign power.  So where we lack, the Lord takes up the slack.  Our fate lies in the grace of our sovereign God, and if we are to experience any real peace in this life, we must know who the LORD is and why He created us.  And then, with the knowledge that God has allowed us to have, we must believe in its Truth and live accordingly.  Everything on earth is carefully monitored by God and is used for His good purpose, because He sees the entire picture from start to finish.
As finite human beings created by God, we can never fully know or understand God.  But we can be sure that what He has allowed us to know and understand is enough.  He wants us to know that without Him to sustain, provide, comfort, and save us, our souls would be lost to the devil.  Without the blood of God the Son there would be no forgiveness, no redemption, and no hope of ever seeing God Face to face.  Without God the Holy Spirit we would remain powerless against the dark forces of Satan and this evil world.  Without the LORD our God there would be nothing but meaningless chaos without hope or purpose.   Without the Almighty Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, our songs would be few and our victories null.   But with Him, the songs of victory are sung.

                                                A Whisper of Hope
Knowing Me, dear child…is knowing the Truth, and with it comes an amazing peace that will get you through the worst this world has to offer.  For when you know the Truth, you know that what lies ahead is perfect and wonderful, with the songs of Heaven’s Best.

Colossians 3:16
Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts
and make you wise.  Use His words to teach and counsel each
other. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with
thankful hearts.  (NLT)

      Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,

                        “The Great Escape”
 Proverbs 5:22
An evil man is held captive by his own sins;
They are ropes that catch and hold him.  (NLT)

As people living under the curse of sin and death, it is our fallen human nature to sin first and worry about the consequences later.  The evil in our hearts opposes the righteousness of God and has the power to hold us captive to our carnal flesh.  While in this mortal body, we are prisoners to what-ever controls the way we think and live.  And until you know the Truth, you will never escape the power that sin has over your life and you will remain its slave, bound to a wicked world that is pulling you into Hell.  When you are driven by your sinful desires, you mock the goodness of God, and every breath you take will lead you farther from the Truth and the harder it is to escape the darkness.  The power of Satan and sin is the driving force behind our world and sadly, most people fall for it and get imprisoned by it.  Many people who hear the Good News of Jesus Christ laugh at the absurdity of it all and pass it off as myth or fiction.  Many will hear the Truth, but say it’s not for them.  Unfortunately, most people will continue to indulge in the pleasure of sin no matter what they hear, for satisfying the flesh in spite of the consequences is the way of the world.
But there are many discouraged people who are crying out for help and hoping to wake up from their nightmare of living in a hopeless world that can only offer them more of the same hopelessness.   It is these truth seekers who will hear the Good News and take God's offer.  They will sense that Christ Jesus is their only Hope of escaping the decadence of this dying world.  They are tired of living in a world that promises much, hardly delivers, and will lose it all when they die.  The only things we can count on from this world are lies, false promises, deception, disappointment, evil, sinful additions, immorality, temporary pleasure, death, and the full wrath of God when it’s all said and done.  Don’t be a slave to Satan and this wicked world.  Instead, come to the Lord just as you are and let Him break the chains so you can escape the darkness that is killing your soul.  You don’t have to die chained to your sins my friend, because you have a Savior and He has already set you free.

                                                 A Whisper of Hope
I can break the chains, child...and bring you into My Everlasting Light.  I can free you from the darkness that holds you prisoner to fear and death.  I can set you free from the powers of Hell and lead you into eternal life.

Isaiah 50:10
Who among you fears the LORD and obeys His Servant?
If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust
in the LORD and rely on your God.  (NLT)

          Do not let sin control the way you live;
do not give in to its lustful desires.

                      “Amazing Saving Grace”
 Micah 7:7
Therefore, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for
the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.  (NKJ)

I can now fully trust in the Lord my God.  I put my life into His hands each day He gives me the breath of life.  And because Christ saved me from the eternal condemnation I deserve, I trust Him with my dying as well.  And as this relationship deepens, I am able to see more clearly how He has used the many foolish mistakes I made to strengthen my faith and prepare me for the mission at hand.  The Lord kept me from dying in my sin because He not only loves me, but wanted to use me in a unique way for the good of His Kingdom.  We know the Lord God is in the people saving business because He did not create us to die; He made us eternal beings. Before God created us He had a redemptive plan in place, because He knew we would need it.
People need to know the truth about this fallen world and the reason it's so difficult to live in, impossible to rely on, and brings us death.  Without the grace of the Living God, we are putty in the hands of Satan. Without Jesus we are caught in the devil’s web of lies while he sucks the life out of our souls.   Everyone needs the Savior who came into our fallen world to rescue us from our sinful ways and save us from the eternal condemnation that we justly deserve.  Every person living in this decaying world needs Jesus, because without His saving grace there is absolutely no way to receive eternal life.  The Lord is always available, my friend, to help you escape the prison of darkness that awaits so many innocent and unsuspecting souls.  The Living God is the only Savior for our eternal souls, even those who think they have fallen too far from His amazing, saving grace.

                                 A Whisper of Hope
I listen closely, dear child…for the cries of those lost in the darkness.  I let no cry for help go unanswered.  I AM GOD, the Savior for all who want to break free from this wicked world that seeks to kill the soul.  You don’t have to die, for I AM eternal life for you.

Psalm 18:30
As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a Shield to all who trust in Him.  (NKJ)

Because the Sovereign LORD helps me,
                        I will not be dismayed.

                            “Hot for Christ”
 Revelation 3:19
I am the One who corrects and disciplines everyone
I love.  Be diligent and turn from your indifference.  (NLT)

If the Lord God did not love human beings like He does, He would have washed His hands of us a long time ago and we would all die in our sin and reap the ugly consequences.  Because the Lord is perfectly righteous and just, unforgiven sin must be dealt with.  But He is also a merciful and gracious God who is filled with love and compassion for people, sin and all.  God was quick to respond to the sins of Adam and Eve, promising a Divine Savior who would crush the head of Satan and provide the Way back into His Holy Presence.  And from that time forward, the Lord has been pursuing people faithfully, correcting and disciplining us when needed, because He wants no one to suffer the horrors of eternal condemnation.  Since the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit has been working in our world in order to wake us up to the truths about life and death, and Heaven and Hell.  Since God’s ways are far above our finite ways, we must humbly trust in the ways of the God who saved us. God's Way is best, no matter how unfair they seem to us.
Why God allows some to die young in their sins and saves others when they are old and sick is not our concern; it is not for us to know this side of Heaven.  We must simply trust in God’s sovereign plan for man and believe in the gift of salvation that He so graciously purchased for us.  When we reject the infinite Truth of God for the false truths of this wicked world, we become deceived by blatant lies and led to make choices that we will regret.  Trusting God’s Truth and His discipline is a prerequisite to successfully navigating through this hard and dangerous life-journey.  Surrendering your life to the Lord and accepting His death and resurrection as your own, is the key that unlocks the door to God’s complete forgiveness, His gift of salvation, a new godly life.  With Christ Jesus you have the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  He is the Saving Light for this dark and dying world, and He is the only One who can usher you through Heaven’s door.

                               A Whisper of Hope
Be at peace, My child…trust in the plans I have for you; plans for a future that is bright and full of life.  My great love is unknowable, my compassion is beyond great, and My justice is perfect.  Don’t be indifferent to the plans I have for you, and always allow Me to lead the Way.

Isaiah 55:8-9
“My thoughts are completely different from yours,” says the LORD.
“And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.  For just
as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than
your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.”  (NLT)

But since you are like lukewarm water,
I will spit you out of My mouth!
                       (Revelation 3:16)
