“The Glory of God”

 Isaiah 6:3

Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty! 

The whole earth is filled with His Glory.  (NLT)

     There is no One more holy than our Lord God, nor is there anyone as mighty or glorious than He.  We can get a glimpse of God's awesome Power and Infinite Glory by simply looking at the universe He created and the incredible precision and power it takes to keep it all in perfect order, even though the universe and everything in it is infected by death and decay.  We should marvel at the glorious power of God's creativeness, but we should praise Him for His glorious resurrection power that transforms our lives.  For born again Christians are miraculously transformed into a new creation who thinks, feels, and lives a new life in Christ.  Our lives are changed from sinful, hateful and self-centered lives into righteous, loving, and selfless lives. We should stand in awe of His unconditional love and His unlimited mercy and grace, because God left the glory of Heaven to become a man of flesh and blood so He could die for our sins and clothe us in His righteousness.  With His amazing gift of forgiveness, our rebellion against God has been fully justified and for those who are born again, we will be raised from the grave and be given a glorious new body that will never die.  And as children of the Living God we can look forward to sharing in the glorious inheritance of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.  

     Only the Lord God has the power to create from absolutely nothing, give life back to that which is dead, and make all things new and perfect forever.  The Lord God has built into our very human fiber the longings for eternal life, and a trouble free existence filled with joy and happiness.  Our Lord God and Savior will come again, my friend, to put an end to the evil in our world and to set up His Kingdom on earth until He creates everything anew.  This sounds pretty far-fetched to those who belong to this dying world that is far away from God.  But when you know you have escaped the wrath of God and the sinner’s death, you will praise the glory and goodness of God with everlasting joy in your heart.  Eternal life is a boat you do not want to miss, because the boat you're on now will sink deep into the darkness of the abyss and lost forever!

                                     A Whisper of Hope

Know the glory that is Mine, dear child…and all the plans I have for you.   All other plans are fleeting and futile.  But the plans I have for My entire creation are so incredible that nothing in this world can compare.  With Satan removed forever, life will be perfect and glorious!

Revelation 20:1-3

Then I saw an angel come down from Heaven with the key to the 

bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand.  He seized the dragon

—that old serpent, the Devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a 

thousand years.  The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which 

he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore 

until the thousand years were finished.  (NLT)

          For He has rescued us from the one who rules 

                    in the kingdom of darkness.
