                           “Life or Death”
 Proverbs 11:19
Godly people find life; evil people find death.  (NLT)

Even though we have no choice in being born into this world, God has blessed us with the gift of life and the freedom to choose how we live once we are mature enough to decide for ourselves.  But along with this freedom to choose, is the reality that the decisions we make will not only determine what happens to us in this short life, but will also determine where we spend eternity.  God created us just as eternal as the angels are, and so we should never take our freedom to choose lightly, because every choice we make is really a matter of life or death, either in this short life or the eternal one to follow—whether we live eternally in the Light of God’s Glory or suffer in eternal darkness without Him.  We don’t know from one moment to the next what this fallen world will dish out and although God made our physical bodies uniquely resilient, we are easily killed.  It's not easy staying alive in this dangerous world, nor is it easy to live righteously in an ungodly world that is cursed with death, captivated by sin, and is in short supply of mercy and grace.
Because of these truths, it is essential that you know the Absolute Truth about life and death and the evil that drives this wicked world.  Without God's Truth we tend to make choices that satisfy our sinful nature, rather than following the eternal ways that God designed us to live by.  Without the Lord God directing your everyday life, you are more apt to give in to worldly things that draw us away from God.  Without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, it's hard to discern what is true and what is not; what is right or what is wrong, or what is good and what is bad.  The man made wisdom from Satan is brain washing people with border-line truth that has twisted God's Word so much that it is barely recognizable.  Man's finite wisdom is purely speculative and utterly foolish when compared to the wisdom of God.   For those who think they are wiser than our Creator and Savior, their foolish pride gone unchecked will lead them straight into the pits of Hell and sadly, they will probably take many others down with them as well.

                                     A Whisper of Hope
Choose wisely, My child…because the fool has no insight on the brevity of life or the longevity of eternity.  Don’t live just for the moment, because the next moment may end up being your worst nightmare.  This life is extremely short-lived and goes by rather quickly, but the next one does not.

2 Timothy 1:9-10
It is God who saved us and chose us to live a holy life.  He did
this not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan
long before the world began—to showHis love and kindness to
us through Christ Jesus.  And now he has made all of this plain
to us by the coming of Christ Jesus, our Savior, who broke the
power of deathand showed us the Way to everlasting life through
the Good News.  (NLT)

Send out Your light and Your truth; let them guide me.
                                (Psalm 43:3)
