His Grace
Psalm 34:22
The LORD
redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of
those who trust in Him shall be
condemned. (NKJ)
With
every breath, we are dependent upon the grace of God. Just the fact that we wake up each morning is
because we have a loving and gracious God.
Even though we are a prideful and rebellious people who love our sin,
God is always faithful to forgive us when we ask. We have an awesome Savior who volunteered to
take the punishment for our sins that were justly due. The Lord is the One who holds the universe in
perfect order so our world can exist.
He provides everything we need to live a good life. Everything we have comes from our
Creator. He has given us a beautiful
world filled with wonderful things that give us pleasure and bring us
happiness, because He wants us to enjoy life.
The
Lord graciously offers us knowledge and wisdom through His Word. He died a sinner’s death and offers us
forgiveness and salvation. He gives us
the Holy Spirit to help us live a righteous life and love others. When we decide to accept Him as the Lord over
our lives, He provides the Way. God
gives us exactly what we need at exactly the right moment. As a child of the Living God, you can be
sure in His sovereignty—that He hears your every cry and He sees your every
trouble. He is a saving God who is
filled with unconditional love. This
life is filled with pain, suffering, heartache, failures and all kinds of
trouble, but when we run to our Provider and Savior, we are headed right into
the gracious arms of the Almighty God.
A Whisper of Hope
My
grace is sufficient, child...to help you in your times of need—to refresh your
weary soul and lighten your heavy loads.
This life-journey is much too difficult for you to live on your
own. Do not be ashamed or afraid of your
weariness or weakness. Instead, see it
as an opportunity for Me to take charge of your life. Start where you are, at this very moment and
let Me help you get through this one day, one step, and one moment at a
time.
Ephesians 2:8
For
by grace you have been saved through faith,
and
not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
(NKJ)
My grace is
sufficient for you, for My strength
is made perfected in weakness.
(2
Corinthians 12:9)
