                                 God’s Glory

1 Corinthians 10:31
Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do,
you must do all for the glory of God.  (NLT)

     For Christians, this simple truth gives our lives a meaningful purpose that is easy to understand and beneficial in all that we do.  When we are living in the Light and reading God's Word, it holds us accountable to all our thoughts and actions, which makes our life-journey a lesson worth living.  It causes us to think before we do anything that can hurt our relationship with God and other people.  Since the Lord has graciously given us the Way to escape eternal condemnation and live a godly life, is it not right that we honor and glorify Him?  Of course, it is, because God delights when we make Him the reason for living.  Now that we have been justified in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, we should make every effort to live for God, because He paid a hefty price for our salvation.
     The Lord knows how we struggle with our sinful, fallen nature.  He knows how weak and vulnerable we are in the hands of the Enemy and his fallen world.  The Lord knows the weaknesses of our flesh and He knows firsthand, the temptations we face.  But through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we receive the wisdom and strength to overcome those sinful things that draw us away from God.  And I assure you, my friends, that whenever anyone overcomes the clever temptations of the devil, God’s glory will shine for the world to see.

                                                      A Whisper of Truth
Glorify Me, dear child...for this is the reason I created you.  It is not easy to do in this sinful world, but when you commit your life to Me, I will show you how and give you the strength to pull it off.  By living for Me you will find the Truth and the Way to eternal life.

1 Corinthians 6:20
For you were bought at a price;
Therefore, glorify God in your body
and in your spirit, which are God’s.  (NKJ)

 Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name.
                                         (Psalm 29:2)
