                                   Greater is He
Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the LORD’s hand is not so short that it cannot save;
Neither is His ear so dull that it cannot hear.  (NASB)

     There are a couple of facts about God in this verse that are absolute in their truth and they are this; God can do anything at any time, and He hears everything all the time.  The Lord our God is aware of everything going on in the world.  He sees how easily we slip into the sin and evil that controls our world.  God knows everything about everybody He creates and He sees the suffering and pain we all experience.  And this is why the Creator has intervened on our behalf.  He suffered and died and rose again to send His Holy Spirit into the world to guided us in all truth and righteousness and to protect us from the evil one.  Those who are reborn of God are a new creation, and become a part of His Body, the Church, and we can always depend on His faithful, sovereign help, especially in our times of trouble.
     By accepting God’s gift of forgiveness and redemption, and by allowing the Holy Spirit to transform my life and soften my heart, I have discovered what it means to truly live in trust.  He may not always answer me when I want or how I want, but because He responds in some way, the Lord has taught me to trust and be patience.  Unbeknownst to me, Satan and his dark ways had succeeded in dragging me down that path of self-destruction that leads to death, but when the time was right our Savior stepped in and rescued me before this fallen world could take me down for the count.  Thanks be to our Sovereign God—the Savior who sees and hears all things and can do all things.  The redeemed can find peace and resolve amidst the darkness, knowing that the Hand of our Mighty God is always poised to help, especially when we are trusting Him in faith.

                                             A Whisper of Hope
Be at peace, My child…because there is nothing so big that I cannot overcome for you, nor is there anything so small that I cannot detect.  Knowing and believing these two things about Me will comfort your weary soul.  With the peace I give you, you will be able to face this difficult life with confidence, for I Am Faithful and True and I AM always there for you!

Isaiah 61:10
I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God!
For He has dressed me with the clothing of salvation
and draped me in a robe of righteousness.  (NLT)

             He is my Shield, the strength of my salvation
                           and my Stronghold.
                                                   (Psalm 18:2)
