         It's God's Glory

Malachi 2:1-2

“And now, O priest, this commandment is for you. 

If you will not hear, and if you will not take it to

heart to give glory to My name,” says the LORD

of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, and I will

curse your blessings.  Yes, I have cursed them all

ready, because you do not take it to heart.”  (NKJ)

     Even though this message from the LORD was given pacifically to the corrupt priests of Judah who were using their influence to satisfy their own greed, I believe it is also for those of us who profess our faith in Christ, because born again Christians are priests, and we are held accountable in our spheres of influence. This especially holds true for the leaders of the Church, whom the Lord has called to shepherd His flock.  Because of the moral decline in America, the Church is also infected, and combined they are causing our country and the world to suffer. This is a perfect example of God's judgment.  The Lord has exposed many Christian leaders and priests in our country who have defiled God's name by their corruption, immoral living, and false doctrine teaching; ushering in God's curse.    

     All the turmoil that has engulfed this world are the consequences of moral decay and a worldwide rebellion against the Lord God and His Church.  This rebellion and its consequences are running their course, my friends, just as God’s Word has been telling us for thousands of years.  But there is Hope, for we have a Savior in Jesus Christ our Lord.  He is our ticket out of this hellish world that is dominated by Satan and those he enslaves.  Our Savior will return, not to save us this time, but to destroy evil and those who follow it, and then usher in the last age of time.  Our King will bring in law and order and when times runs out, He will restore the heavens and earth where we will spend eternity living in the Presence of our awesome God forever.

                              A Whisper of Hope

Honor Me, dear child…by living a holy life.  When you do, I am on your side.  When you don't, I am against you.  I paid a hefty price to bring you into My Presence and I command you to live in My Way, for it is the only Way to escape the punishment you deserve. Your obedience will not make your journey any easier, but you can be confident in its heavenly destination.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a

commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and

with the trumpet call of God.  First, all the Christians who

have died will rise from their graves.  Then, together with

them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will

be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and

remain with Him forever.  (NLT)

            And He who sits on the throne said,

       “Behold, I am making all things new.”

                      (Revelation 21:5)
