       Peace in Salvation
Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord,
     who daily bears our
               burden,
the God who is our salvation.  (NASB)

For Christians who have surrendered their lives to the Lord of Creation and are relying on Him to guide them, it becomes quite natural to give the Lord thanks and praise for all He has done and continues to do, but more pacifically, for the saving grace of salvation that no one deserves nor could ever accomplish on their own.  As a believer in the Way and the Truth, we know that Christ Jesus is not only the Lord God and Savior of the world, but He is also our own personal Savior as well.  We fully trust in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus as our own and are cleansed of sin so we can live in His Presence now and forever.  Faith in the Cross at Calvary removes our fears about death and gives us the peace to rest in the weariness of living in this cruel and unfair world that is constantly trying to beat us into submission to its dark and evil ways.  If you have sincerely accepted the gift of salvation that the Lord God personally paid for with His life’s blood, the best you can give Him in return is a life of repentance, always living in thanksgiving and praise.  It delights the Lord whenever we surrender to His will and humbly open our hearts to His healing touch.
It honors God greatly and brings glory to His Name when we live in repentance and do it with thankful hearts regardless of our circumstances.  By living this difficult life-journey in faith knowing that God is near and protecting you from the evil forces of darkness, you gain a heavenly peace that will enable you to praise God at anytime and anywhere.  How blessed we are to have a personal God who walks with His children every day and keeps them safe through the night.  How blessed we are to have a Savior who takes us as we are and cleanses us from our sins.  We have so many reasons to praise and worship the One True God who formed us in our mother’s womb, but it is our salvation from the hellish price of unrepentant sin that we should be most thankful for, because without it, living this life would not be worth the trouble, and it would have a terrible ending as well.

                          A Whisper of Hope
You honor Me, My child…with a heart of thanksgiving, a moment of praise, and by living a repentant life. Without Me your future would be very dark indeed.  But when you embrace My Truth and My Way, your entire life-journey with Me is directed with holy precision.  Although the journey is never easy, the rewards for your faith are great and forever.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always.  Keep on praying. No matter what happens,
always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong
to Christ Jesus.  (NLT)

When a man’s ways are pleasing
to the LORD, He makes even
his enemies to be at peace with him.
                    (Proverbs 16:7)
