“Peace of Heart”
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid.” (NKJ)
Because we live in a fallen world there will always be difficult days
and devastating times when most believers will question God’s authority or
motives, even when they believe He is sovereign over all things. Whenever this cruel world deals us a crummy
hand, I believe the devil is right there doing his best to convince us that God
is either cheating us out of something we think we deserve, or He is simply punishing us. The devil is crafty and deceitful and always
busy trying to belittle God in anyway he can. And no matter where we may be in your faith walk with Christ, we will
always be fighting against the evil forces that dominate this humanistic world,
because this world and all who follow it are always ready to fight against the
very fiber of God’s Divine Plan.
Until
Jesus’ return there will always be difficult times when we find ourselves in
situations that seem impossible to change no matter how much we trust God with
our lives. But one of the most valuable
lesson I have learn in my faith walk with Christ, is that no matter how
uncertain and fearful I am in my uncomfortable circumstances, when I read God’s
Word and listen for His Voice, I always find the peace I need for my troubled
heart. And in this peaceful state of
mind, I always find the courage and hope to move forward in my faith and trust
in Jesus to do what no one else can do. All
things are possible when we live in Christ Jesus our Lord God and Savior. Who better is there than our Lord God, Jesus
Christ? Our Savior is the only One who
can save us from our troubles and give us the true and lasting hope that gives
us the peace of God—the very peace that our weary hearts and souls long for!
A
Whisper of Hope
Let
My Peace, dear child…bring comfort and healing to your wounded,
skeptical heart. Do not listen to any
other voices but Mine. I Am the Word of
Life. Let the truth of my words be
written on your heart, because the dark forces of this broken world will never
cease trying to lead you away from Me.
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know
the plans I have for you,” says the LORD.
“They are
plans for good and not for disaster, to give
you a future and a hope. (NLT)
You will keep in perfect
peace all who trust in You,
whose
thoughts are fixed on You.
(Isaiah 26:3)
