His Saving Grace

Acts 4:12

There is salvation in no one else!  There is no other name

in all of heaven for people to call on to save them.  (NLT)

     Because the LORD is both gracious and merciful to the people He so carefully creates, He sent His only Son to save His people and the rest of mankind from the self-destruction of sin.  Christ Jesus was the final Sacrificial Lamb of God who was slaughtered for the sins of the world.  Our Lord God became fully human so He could live with His people, heal the sick, feed the hungry and to bring hope to all peoples of this fallen world; a world that is cursed by sin, filled with suffering, sickness, heartbreak, and death.  God knows that without His mercy and saving grace, mankind would perish forever. Jesus healed the sick, fed the hungry, raised the dead and showed people who God really is. The Lord came to us, because we would not come to Him.  He lived on this earth as a man and suffered just as we suffer, was tempted just as we are tempted, and died just as we, too, will die.  

     The Creator of the Universe gave His own life and His own blood to cleanse us of our sins and to take our punishment. There are only two paths that we can choice to follow; there is a wide path that is well traveled, for it is the path the world recommends—ways that are pleasure oriented, self-centered, prideful and self-loving—ways that will ultimately lead to condemnation and eternal death.  And there is a much narrower path that is God centered and takes you straight to the foot of the Cross of Christ, where you are cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and covered with the righteousness of Jesus.  You will escape the final wrath of God and receive the gift of eternal life in the new Heaven on Earth.  The sacrifice has been made and the price has been paid in full.  You have been forgiven and your life has been saved! Believe it, accept it and let the Lord do the rest!

Take My Hand, dear child…for I will lead you on a life-journey that is out of this world. There are many paths that lead nowhere but straight to Hell.  Only one does not.  Choose the path to salvation that I paid for with My blood and death, because you cannot afford the price, nor can you be worthy to receive it.  So, I give it to you as a gift. 

Psalm 84:11-12

For the LORD God is our Light and Protector.

He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will

the LORD with hold for those who do what is right.

O LORD Almighty, happy are those who trust in You.  (NLT)

             For by grace you have been saved through faith…
