Path to Life
Psalm 25:4, 5
Show
me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.
Lead me
in
Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation. (NKJ)
This psalm from thousands
of years ago is a plea for deliverance—a plea that should be on every lip and
in every heart of every person—a plea that has been answered, because our God
and Savior left the glory of heaven and delivered us from the fate of this
fallen world. The Living God came to
show us the path of Truth that leads to life—the only path that gives us
eternal hope and encouragement while living in a world that hates the Word of
God. Within the written pages of the
Bible are God inspired words that are absolute in their truth, without error,
and never changing—revelations that our infinite God has so graciously shared
with us. We learn why the world hates
its Creator who came to us in a human body so He could give His life and shed
His perfect blood as the final sacrificial Lamb of God. When we know and believe the Truth, we can
make the right decisions that will not only save us from the final wrath of
God, but will give our lives moral purpose and eternal value. In other words, the Lord has given us the Map
that will leads us back to God and eternal life.
When you humbly surrender
your life to the Lord and accept the blood of Christ as the atonement for all
your sins, you will receive the Holy Spirit as your guide, paving the path that
will take you on an amazing life-journey unlike anything this hate-filled world
could ever offer. When you began to
learn who this amazing God is and all the glorious plans He has for His people,
it will became quite apparent that it is far better to trust in God’s Way
rather than the world’s way. I, like many others, had chosen the ways of the
world that left me empty and depressed.
The only real promise that this world can deliver is trouble and
death. There is absolutely no One more
qualified to lead you into the Truth than the omnipotent Creator who is the
Truth. And there is no One that cares
more about your future than the One who created you. Don’t follow the world and its empty
promises; follow the Living God who paved the path to life for you.
A
Whisper of Hope
I came to
light the path, dear child…that leads to life. You no longer need to live in darkness nor
follow the paths that lead nowhere. Life
on this earth will never be without struggle or pain or void of uncertainty and
disappointment, but if you step into the Light, you will find the path to life.
Psalm 16:11
You will show
me the path of life; in Your presence is
fullness of
joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (NKJ)
Your word is a lamp
to my feet and a light to my path.
(Psalm 119:105)
