Full Ownership

Psalm 24:1

The earth is the LORD’S,

    and everything in it.

The world and all its people

   belong to Him.  (NLT)

     Our triune God, without exception, is the final authority in all things and at all times.  The buck stops with the LORD our God.  Since the Lord created the earth and everything in it, it rightly belongs to Him and therefore, has the final word over all things all of the time.  Because God is everywhere at all times, there is nothing seen or unseen that He is unaware of, nor is there anything that can elude His all-consuming Presence.  God is so big that neither space nor time can confine His being or limit His supremacy.  He sees and hears and knows absolutely everything that goes on in His creation—nothing can hide from Him.  With God there is no darkness, and everything is in His Light and visible for Him to see.  He is our Father, Provider, Savior, Lord, King, Judge, Shepherd, Light, Word, Rock, Shelter, Lion, and the Lamb, and the list goes on. 

     In other words, God is Supreme—nothing trumps His sovereign will.  If everything ceased to exist, only God would remain. He always has been and always will be, for only God is infinite.  Every living organism on this earth depends on God for its very survival.  It is only by His grace and good will that our every need is met.  Our dependency on God is absolute, for without Him we would not exist nor could we survive if we did.  We owe God for everything we have and don’t have.  Every ounce of thanks and praise that we could ever muster, would never be enough to pay the debt we own Him.  The Author and Finisher of Life is absolute in everything.  And when you understand and believe this my friends, you will fully trust in His Way and it will bring you great joy and peace while you wait patiently for His Promise to make all things new, including you!

                                       A Whisper of Hope

All that exists belongs to Me…you only share in its glory.  I give you all that you need and sometimes more, for I Am the Rightly Owner and I do what I please.  This may sound harsh to you now, but one day you will understand and experience all that I have for you and you will be amazed at My generosity.

Acts 17:24-25

He is the God who made the world and everything in it. 

Since He is Lord of Heaven and Earth, He doesn’t live

in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve His

needs—for He has no needs.  He Himself gives life and

breath to everything, and He satisfies every need there is.  (NLT)

        before You made the earth and the world, 

          you are God, without beginning or end.
