“You Need Jesus”

 John 17:1-3

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven and said: “Father, the hour has come. 

Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over

all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.  And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.  (NKJ)

     Before the Lord Jesus Christ took His disciples into the garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives where He allowed Himself to be arrested and later executed , He prayed to the Father in Heaven on behalf of Himself, His disciples, and for the believers who would go out into the world to spread the Good News and form His Church.  Jesus is now our High Priest, the One who intercedes before God on our behalf.  It is only the blood of the Perfect Lamb covering our sins that we can enter into the Holy Presence of God.  There is no other Way to be saved from the fiery pits of hell.  Our good deeds won’t get it done, nor will our good behavior.  We cannot buy our salvation, nor can we fool God to get it. 

     The only Way to Heaven is through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord God and Savior.  We must put to death our old life of sin and be born again in Spirit and Truth to a new life.  And just as the power of God raised Christ from the grave, so, too, will all those who are born again into God's family.  No one will get through the gates of Heaven stained with sin.  No one will get past the final judgment without the blood of Jesus covering their sins.  To get the crown of eternal life my friend, you need Jesus, because without Him, you belong to the devil.

                                                 A Whisper of Hope

I Am your Hope and Salvation, dear child...the only One who can bring you into the Glory of God’s Holy Presence forever.  All other ways are lies to deceive you.  Don’t be fooled by this fallen world, for I Am the Way, the Truth, and the only Savior for your eternal soul.

1 Timothy 2:3-6

This is good and pleases God our Savior, for He wants everyone to be saved 

and to understand the truth.  For there is only one God and one Mediator who 

can reconcile God and people.  He is the man Christ Jesus.  He gave His life to 

purchase freedom for everyone.  This is the message that God gave to the world 

at the proper time.  (NLT)

                           Therefore, having been justified by faith, 

                                we have peace with God 

                            through our Lord Jesus Christ.
