“One Voice”

 Zechariah 10:2

Household gods give false advice, fortunetellers predict only lies,

and interpreters of dreams pronounce comfortless falsehoods.  

So my people are wandering like lost sheep, without a shepherd to

protect and guide them.  (NLT)

     Much like it was in the Zechariah’s day, people are still turning to the many false gods of this fallen world, rather than turning to the only True and Living God.  These false gods of Satan's and his band of followers are still at work today, filling hearts and minds with lies that are detrimental to our everyday lives and our spiritual health.  There are billions of people today who still rely on fortunetellers, Tara cards, séances, and other such nonsense.  Millions of people put their faith in written horoscopes found in daily secular newspapers, and many others join religious cults, rather than seriously looking into the only Reliable Source for the Truth.  The Word of God is the only Source for the Absolute truth—Truth that is not twisted and reshaped to fit our sinful lifestyles; Truth that is righteous and just and never changes with the times.  The Truth is the only Way to escape the decadence of this dying world to live an eternal life as it was created.  The Truth is the Lord our God, Jesus Christ.

     The precise balance of creation that makes it possible for our very existence lies in the Almighty hands of the Living God.  Every breath we take is at the mercy and grace of our Creator,  not by chance.  The Lord God is both Creator and the Author of life and His purpose is much greater than just satisfying our selfish human passions.  But in order to discover the true purpose for our existence we must  turn to our Creator and learn why we were created.  This fallen world has an endless supply of falsehoods and frivolous ways to obtain truth, happiness, and peace of mind, but they are all lies and schemes of Satan and he is sucking the life out of this world and dragging it into the depths of darkness. The Devil is leading the lost straight into Hell with his lies and false gods.  Don’t follow him and this world my friend, instead, follow the Good Shepherd into the safety of His fold, where He will heal your wounds and lead you to better pasture; a real place where you can feed on His every Word of truth and live as you have never lived before.

                                             A Whisper of Hope

Listen to My Word…dear child, for they are the words of life.  Don’t listen to the many false voices of this fallen world, for they are words of death and will lead you into a darkness you will never escape from.  There are many false shepherds whose smooth sounding voices will lead you astray, but My voice will lead you into the glory of Heaven and eternal life!  

Jeremiah 23:30-32

“Therefore,” says the LORD, “I stand against these prophets

who get their messages from each other—these smooth-tongued

prophets who say, ‘This prophecy is from the LORD!’  Their imaginary

dreams are flagrant lies that lead my people into sin.”  (NLT)

                  Today you must listen to His voice. 

          Don’t harden your hearts against Him.
