Fearful and Safe

 Isaiah 8:13, 14

Do not fear anything except the LORD Almighty, He 

alone is the Holy One. If you fear Him, you need fear 

nothing else.  He will keep you safe.  (NLT)

     There are many things about this unruly world that are so out of control that they cause many of us to live in fear of what tomorrow may bring.  The chaotic condition that the world is in, is not going to get any better as we draw closer to the Second Coming of our Lord God, Jesus Christ.  This privileged planet that was, in the beginning, a display of God’s magnificent creative glory is now distraught and groaning desperately for Jesus. The world's view is for some brilliant human leader to rise up and take the steps to bring about world peace, and order to the chaos, saving the planet and creating a utopian life for everyone.  But don’t be fooled by this humanist foolishness, because it is impossible for imperfect humanism to create anything that is perfect. Only a Perfect God can create perfection.  And the only Savior for this world is the Lord Jesus Christ, for He the only perfect One who can bring peace and order and perfect justice to our world. 

     Satan’s deception is the reason for the fallen state we are living in and one day the Lord of lord’s, the King of kings, will get rid of him forever putting an end to all evil and sin forever.  And then God will complete His plan and make everything new and perfect. When you know the truth about what the future holds and truly believe in the promises of God, you will experience a peace you never thought possible. What our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished on the Cross is beyond our human understanding, but it does remove the power of sin and the fear of death that holds us captive. Fear of the unknown is quite natural for most of us and it robs us of the joy of living. Our Almighty God calls us to fear only Him, for it is only God who holds the power of life or death. Only God can save you from the eternal darkness of Hell.  When you fear the wrath of the Almighty God, you are wise.  If you scoff at God and His Truth and believe in the humanist way to utopia, you are foolish, and will receive exactly what the foolish deserve.  Be wise and believe in God’s Plan and He will give you Heaven.

                                    A Whisper of Hope

Fear nothing but Me, your God…trust your Savior to keep you safe.  I not only have the power to keep this promise, but I also hold your future in My hands.  My love for you exceeds any and all love that you can comprehend.  And with Me at your side, Satan and his dark and evil world holds no power over you that you cannot overcome.

Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor

be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is

the One who goes with you.  He will not leave you

nor forsake you.”  (NKJ)

                  I sought the LORD, and 

           He delivered me from all my fears.

                           (Psalm 34:4)
