Simple Truth

Psalm 119:130

As Your words are taught, they give light;

Even the simple can understand them. (NLT)

     When God’s Word finds His way into our hearts and souls, the Light of His Truth will break through the darkness of this fallen world and bring blessed hope to anyone.  It is often out of deep desperation that many hopeless people will open up the Bible in search of something they can hold on to, something that would comfort their souls and hopefully bring resolve into their troubled lives.   Sadly though, if we do not allow God’s Truth to seep deep into our hearts, the Light quickly dims and we are hard pressed to find a way out of the darkness that is consuming us.  But when we allow the Truth of God’s Word to penetrate the hardness of your hearts, we find its true meaning, because it opens our minds to the life-saving instructions that are clear and concise.  The Truth of God's Word is always easier to see when God’s Light is shining upon its pages and into your softened heart. 

     We cannot just see or hear the words of God’s absolute Truth in order to experience the transforming power they bring; they need to penetrate deep into our hearts and souls.  Mankind has proven over and over again, throughout the ages, that when we are disconnected from our Creator we are oblivious to His Truth, leaving us uninformed, unprotected, and in the grasp of Satan’s evil grip, which causes much chaos and destruction in its wake.  Without God’s Word and the Holy Spirit dwelling within your heart, this life becomes a very dark and hopeless place.  But with God in your heart, His Word in your hands, and His Light showing you the Way, you will find your way out of the dark that promises you nothing but defeat and death.  See God's Word—touch it, read it, and feel its power, my friends, for the Light of God’s Son will surely shine as the dawns coming light, subduing the darkness so you can see the Way that leads to a glorious eternal Life.

                                  A Whisper of Hope

I Am Light of the World, dear child… And the Word that brings life.  My Truth was revealed so you could find your way out of the darkness of sin that has consumed the world.  My Light brightens the paths of your life-journey so you will not fall into the pits of hell.  The Light of My Truth will bring you hope, peace, and life, whereas the darkness will only bring you fear, anxiety and death.

1 John 1:1-2

The One who existed from the beginning is the One we have heard and seen. 

We saw Him with our own eyes and touched Him with our own hands.  His is

Jesus Christ, the Word of Life.  This One who is life from God was shown to us,

and we have seen Him.  And now we testify and announce to you that He is the

One who is eternal life.  He was with the Father, and then He was shown to us.  (NLT)

                       Your Word is a lamp to my feet 

                       and a light to my path.
