Never Ending
Colossians 3:3, 5
For you died
when Christ died, and your real life
is hidden with
Christ in God. So put to death the
sinful,
earthly things lurking within you. (NLT)
Our
merciful Lord God left the glory of Heaven to be born into this sin-filled
world as a man of flesh and blood, so He could do for us what we could not do
for yourselves—to save us from eternal Hell.
Jesus shed His perfect blood as the final sacrificial Lamb of God, which
cleansed the world of its rebellion against our holy God. When you accept the death of Jesus as your
own, you are born again into a new life wearing Jesus' robe of righteousness. So when the Father sees you, He sees His Son
and you will remain holy in God’s sight until your sanctification is
complete. Jesus died for the sins of
mankind so we would have the Way to escape God’s final wrath and condemnation. But the most amazing part of this undeserved
gift of salvation is that Jesus defeated sin and death for us and just as He
was resurrected from the grave into a new eternal body and was taken up into
the glory of Heaven, so, too, will all believing Christians.
God had
the plan for man’s redemption before the foundation of the world was made. God
wants no one to miss out on the glory of Heaven—He wants no one to suffer the
eternal agony of hell’s fire. God is
holy and perfect and we must also be holy and perfect if we want to live in His
Presence forever. And the only way we
can come into God's Holy Presence, my friends, is through atoning blood Jesus
Christ our Savior. Our holy God cannot
be in the presence of sin, much like light and darkness cannot share the same
time and space. This is why we all need
the covering of the Son, for it is through His sacrificial death that we have
been reconciled with the Father. There is no better offer than the gift of
salvation, and there is no other Way to escape the wrath of God’s final
judgment. And there is no better way to
glorify the One who created you and then came to earth and saved you, than by
trading your old life of sin for a new life in Him.
A
Whisper of Hope
Die with Me,
dear child…and live your new life close to Me, for I give graciously and
generously. Don’t let this evil world tempt you away from Me, for I know you
are weak and unable to stand on your own.
I have made it so you could walk in My Presence anytime and anywhere, so
put on My robe of righteousness and truly live!
Ephesians 1:4
Long ago, even
before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in
Christ to be
holy and without fault in His eyes. His
unchanging plan has
always been to
adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself
through Jesus
Christ. And this gave Him great
pleasure. (NLT)
So now we can
rejoice in our wonderful
new relationship with God.
(Romans 5:11)
