                             Saving Wisdom
Proverbs 26:8
Honoring a fool is as foolish as
tying a stone to a slingshot.  (NLT)

All people do foolish things, but that does not necessarily make us a fool.  It is when we continue our foolish behavior in spite of the consequences that defines the fool.  For example, there are many people in this world who are indeed foolish, because in spite of all the evidence, they still deny the existence of God, who is our Creator, Provider and the only Savior we have.  There is a tremendous difference between God’s view of foolishness and that of mankind’s.  Foolishness to God is man’s most brilliant wisdom, which is speculation at best, and if lived by, leads nowhere fast and ends with eternal condemnation.  To the world, the Christian life is foolish because we seek the Truth from above and entrust our lives to an Almighty God who raises the dead and promises everlasting life.  The Wisdom of God is infinite and it never changes, while man’s created wisdom is both short-sighted and limited, and it changes with the drop of a hat.  God, in His infinite wisdom, created everything that exists and He knows everything there is to know.  The world’s wisdom is made up from fallen human beings who have limited knowledge because they are finite.
Foolishness is believing in the Big Bang and how mankind slowly evolved by crawling out of the ocean to form legs billions of years ago, even though God has been revealing the Truth about creation since the beginning of time.   And those of us who have the Wisdom from above know that most of the of the world's wisdom is utter foolishness, especially when it comes to this life and death.  This is why we must be careful who we follow into the grave, because it will determine our eternal destination.  If you are not looking to God for your wisdom, you will suffer the eternal fate of all fools.  Foolish people turn away from God to follow their own foolish ways. Don’t waste what little time you have on the foolishness of this fallen world.  Instead, seek first the Kingdom of God and then His Wisdom will be yours to discover!

                                       A Whisper of Hope
Heed not, the ways of man, dear child…for tragedy will surely follow suit.  But when you heed the Wisdom from above, you become wise and your life will flourish.  Your Heavenly future is found in My Wisdom, so be wise in Me.

1 Corinthians 1:18-20
I know very well how foolish the message of the cross sounds to those who
are on the road to destruction.  But we who are being saved recognize this
message as the very power of God.  As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy
human wisdom and discard their most brilliant ideas” (Isaiah 29:14).  So
where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant
debaters?  God has made them all look foolish and has shown their wisdom to
be useless nonsense.   (NLT)

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God.
                            (1 Corinthians 3:19)
