God Filled

Psalm 145:16

You open Your hand and

     satisfy

the desire of every living

     thing.  (NKJ)

     When the LORD created human beings, He created us with deep and eternal desires that only He could fill. Although everything depends on God to exist, all living organisms depend on God to sustain them, especially human beings. If you have the normal God given wits about you, you have longed for that one person or something that would be perfect in every way, that would make you feel complete and satisfied. We also look for someone to love us in spite of our short comings.  Many of us spend a lifetime searching for a soul mate who could ease the pain of living and comfort us when we are life-weary; someone outside of ourselves that would bring purpose and peace into our lives.  And after a while many of us get discourage because we are unsatisfied, alone, empty, and loosing hope of ever finding that someone.  Sadly, there are many of us who, out of desperation, settled for less and it leads us astray. We are spiritual needy creatures. We need understanding, forgiveness, and reassurance that all is well and we are not alone. We need love and that some One we can fully trust.  

     If you are feeling life-weary and alone, believing there is no one for you, I know how it feels, because I was once in that place after 55 years of life.  I learned that we will never find that someone until you meet the One who carefully formed you in your mother’s womb and gave you the breath of life.  The Lord God of Heaven and Earth is the only One who can fill all of your needs—especially that emptiness that He created in your heart.  Most people search the world for something that would complete who they are, but to no avail.   Many people go to the grave empty, alone, bitter and blaming the God they don't even believe in.  But there is One Person my friend, that can fill your heart with everlasting peace, love, joy, and hope.  Before you give up, let your God and Savior, Jesus Christ fill that void and you will know that your life is complete and is not in vain. There is no One as wonderful, as loving, as forgiving or more faithful.  And if you truly search for Him, He will truly find you!

I AM the One you search for, my child…Don’t be fooled, for only I can satisfy the longings of your heart.  I have given you everything you need to satisfy the hungers that you have for life.  Do not be dismayed, because I Am coming for all those who know Me, and they will be filled with so much more than they can ever imagine.
