God Says

Zechariah 1:4

This is what the LORD Almighty says: 

‘Turn from your evil ways and stop all

your evil practices.’  (NLT)

     Everything we do in this life is recorded in the books of God, which will be open on the Day of our Judgment.  God knows everything that is said, done, and thought.  When people partake in the evil ways of this wicked world, God knows every detail and records it all.  Nothing is hidden and all will be exposed. Throughout the ages, God has given us many warnings about the eternal consequences that sin and disobedience brings.  God hates every kind of evil and sin because pure holiness is His nature.  We must remember that God did not create the evil that is killing our souls and world.  Lucifer, the fallen angel did.   He chose to rebel against God and became the Devil, whom God named Satan.  He is pure evil in the darkest sense, and his power is great.  When you combine the evil power of Satan with the sinful nature of of mankind, you have a fallen world that is saturated with wickedness and every kind of evil.  The deceit of Satan is making our world a darker place, making it harder and harder for people to discern the evil from the good, which is making it harder to see the traps. 

     But there is coming a day when the Almighty God will unleash His anger upon the wicked people of this world and purge the evil.  Everything in this world will suffer the vengeance of God's anger, for no one will be able to hide from it.  If you want to escape God’s furry my friend, it would behoove you to surrender to the only One who can save you.   Only the Son of God has the power to set you free from the evil that is consuming this world.  The death and resurrection power of Jesus Christ is the only hope you have of escaping the final wrath of God.  When you surrender to Christ, He will break the chains that hold you captive to sin and the evil of Satan, and you will be made free to discover the joy of God.  For as a adopted child of the Living God, you are as pure and holy as Christ is pure and holy in the eyes of the LORD, and nothing can snatch you from His hands.  That is real joy!

                            A Whisper of Hope

My warnings, dear child, are clear…and easy to understand.  The power of sin and death over your flesh is a powerful force to be reckoned with, but I have defeated them on your behalf.  Do not ignore the Truth, because I AM the only Savior you have.

Ezekiel 7:8-9

Soon I will pour out My fury to complete your

punishment for all your disgusting behavior. 

I will neither spare nor pity you.  I will repay

you for all your detestable practices.  Then you

will know that it is I, the LORD, who is striking

the blow.  (NLT)

                        For evildoers shall be cut off,

              but those who wait on the LORD,

                  they shall inherit the earth.

                                (Psalm 37:9)
