                        His Kingship
Mark 15:2
Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
Jesus replied, “Yes, it is as you say.  (NLT)

Although Jesus is telling us the absolute truth, there is so much more to be said about His infinite Kingship.  Jesus is not only the King of the Jews, but He is also the King of creation.  This King is our Lord God and Savior. He is the Eternal King, the King of ages past, the King of the present age, and the King of future ages. He is the King of Heaven and the King of Earth. He is King of the Universe.  He is King of the living and the King of the dead. Jesus is not only King over all things, visible and invisible, but He is the Infinite King—the One True God who has always been and always will be. He is the only infinite being and always will be the only One. He creates everything, holds it all together, and has the power to make it all disappear. If there was nothing at all, there would be King Jesus.
The King is God Almighty in the flesh. He is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He sustains all that exists.  He gives life to everything living and is their sole Provider. Without Him nothing would exist. The King is the Final Judge, Jury, and Executioner. He is the Savior of the world. He is the Master Builder and the Cornerstone of His Church. He is the Rock of Salvation and the foundation for life.  He is the Protector, Shelter, and the Comforter of our souls. He is Healer and He is True and Faithful.  He is the Mightiest Warrior.  He is the Lamb and the Lion.  He is the High Priest, He is the Lord of lords, and the King of all kings.  He is an all-consuming fire. He is the Light of the world, the God of Israel, the Bridegroom, and the Bride.  This is our mighty and loving King, my friends, who owns your life and the only One with whom you should worship and fear. But He can also be your Friend, my friend.

                                    A Whisper of Hope
I know who I AM, dear child...But who do you think I am?  If you believe I AM is your King, you will be with Me in Heaven.  If you do not believe that I AM, who I AM, then you must choose another King. I have given you My Word, My life, and My Name, and now I AM giving you time.

Exodus 3:14-15
God replied, “I AM THE ONE WHO ALWAYS IS.  Just tell them,
'I AM has sent me to you.'”  God also said, “Tell them, The LORD,
the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac,
and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.  This will be My name
forever, it has always been My name, and it will be used throughout
all generations. (NLT)

For who is God, except the LORD? And who
is a Rock, except our God?
                                       (Psalm 18:31)
