                     Learning His Way
Psalm 25:5
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation. (NLT)

I began to believe and trust in the Lord God when the Holy Spirit revealed just what it was that our Savior, Jesus Christ did for me personally, not to mention what He accomplished for the entire world.  The Holy Spirit helped me understand the pain and suffering that Jesus volunteered for and fully accepted on our behalf.  Whenever I meditate on what our Lord gave up to come live in this sin infected world as the final sacrificial Lamb of God, I experience an awesome peace knowing that I am safely in God's hands.  We may not fully understand what the Lord puts before us, but we can fully trust that whatever it is, it will transform our life, and give us the strength to persevere in this world gone mad.
It is not easy to trust, especially if this life has brought us a lot of pain, suffering, unhappiness, and disappointment.  As a new Christian, I found it extremely hard to trust in someone I could not see, touch, or audibly hear.  But as I began to learn and understand the nature of God, I slowly began to learn how to trust Him one circumstance at a time.  Trusting in Jesus, my friends, is a life-saving, life-changing decision.  It's hard to describe the joy and peace that this one decision has given me, but I can tell you that Jesus pulled me out of the darkness and hopelessness that I had been trapped in most of my life.  And now, my new life in Christ Jesus is a life that is truly worth living.

                                      A Whisper of Hope
It is possible, My child…to find true peace and joy even in the midst of the darkness that has consumed this world.  In fact, My Light shines the brightest when your life is filled with suffering and pain, or stress and frustration, or discouragement and doubt.  Lift up your empty hands in faith and I will fill them with My Hope and Peace.

1 John 2:27
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you,
so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true.  For the
Spirit teaches you all things, and what He teaches is true—it
is not a lie.  So continue in what He has taught you, and continue
to live in Christ.  (NLT)

He leads the humble in doing right,
              teaching them His way.
                                       (Psalm 25:9)
