“Father in Son”     

 1 John 2:23-24

Anyone who denies the Son doesn't have the Father either.  But

anyone who confesses the Son has the Father also.  So you must

remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. 

If you do, you will continue to live in fellowship with the Son and

with the Father.  (NLT)

     God's Word tells us clearly that the Father and Son are One. Our Almighty God walked upon the face of this earth as a Man of flesh and blood, named Jesus Christ; fully God, and fully human. We will never fully understand the essence of our triune God this side of Heaven.  But we can trust that Jesus Christ is the Living God; our Creator, our Savior, and our eternal King. He absorbed into His body the sins of the world to suffer the death and punishment that we deserve for all our detestable sins against the Most Holy God of creation.  If you cannot believe that Jesus Christ is LORD, God in the flesh, and that He is the only Way to eternal life, then you have either been duped, or you are living in denial of the Truth so you can take pleasure in your sin.  This world denies Christ, it denies the Living God, and it denies that His Word is the absolute Truth.  And the world, my friends, seems to have a death wish, because without the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit as One God, there is only darkness in the future. Without the LORD God leading our ways, healing our wounds, and forgiving our many sins, we waste this life by living in fear, worry, doubt, guilt, shame, and a sense of hopelessness and futility when we could be living in peace and thanksgiving and joy for the gift of salvation. 

     For the people who deny the triune God of the Bible, this difficult life with its few pleasures, will not be worth the price they will pay when this life is over, because the price for denying the Living God is eternal death, which will not be a pleasant way to spend the rest of eternity. An eternal existence  without the glory of God is absolute darkness and isolation, dying over and over again.  But for those of us who believe in the Word of God, we will be walking hand and hand with the Creator and the King of the universe in a real close and personal relationship forever.  Our suffering in this short life is nothing compared to the glorious inheritance we will receive for the rest of eternity.  By embracing the Father and Son my friends, you will receive the Holy Spirit to live in you while you wait for Him to come and take you Home.

                                                           A Whisper of Hope 

There is only One God, My child...and I Am He.  I Am your only hope in this life if you want to escape the consequences that living apart from Me brings.  I created you and I died for you, and I have eternal plans for you that are out of this world.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

Now there are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but it is the same 

Holy Spirit who is the Source of them all. There are different kinds 

of service in the church, but it is the same Lord we are serving.  

There are different ways God works in our lives, but it is the same 

God who does the work through all of us.  (NLT)

                 God the Father chose you long ago, 

        and the Spirit has made you holy. As a result, 

                    you have obeyed Jesus Christ 

                   and are cleansed by His blood.
