                                   “God’s Power”
 Proverbs 11:7
When the wicked die, their hopes all perish,
for they rely on their own feeble strength.  (NLT)

As finite, mortal human beings who rely on our Creator to survive in this vast, untamed universe that threatens our existence every moment in time, we are relatively powerless in our quest to fight both the unseen evil forces and ones we can see threatening our lives.  Neither our physical bodies nor our limited intelligence has what it takes to overcome these powerful forces that are far greater than the limited power God has given us.  We are God dependent and a God needy people because He created us this way, and it is this absolute law of creation that we cannot dispute or ignore with a any sense of confidence. Our Sovereign God alone has the infinite power to save us from ourselves, the evil powers of Hell, or anything else in the universe, no matter how powerful or how impossible it may be.  Nothing trumps the power our Almighty Creator.
Our Lord God has given us just enough power to fight the everyday challenges that come with living in this fallen world, but when it comes to protecting ourselves from the forces of the universe or the everyday battles for our hearts, minds and souls, we do not have a chance without the protection or infinite power of our Almighty God.  For those who fight their sinful nature and the evil forces of darkness without God's help, they will simply loose or realize their mistake when it's too late.   For once we breathe our very last breath,  so, too, do our opportunities to call out to the Lord to help us fend off the powers of darkness that want only to kill our souls.  God's power is the only Way to win the battle of life, so be wise my friend, and don't compromise.

                                                  A Whisper of Hope
Without My Sovereign Power, dear child...you are easy prey for those who want to kill your soul.  But with My Power, I will not only protect you from the Enemy, but I will give you the desire to do good, rather than that, which is harmful and often deadly.

Luke 10:17, 18-20
“Lord, even the demons obey us when we use Your name.”  “Yes,” He told them, “I saw Satan falling from Heaven as a flash of lightning.  And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them.  Nothing will injure you.  But don't rejoice just because evil spirits obey you, rejoice because your names are registered as citizens of Heaven.”  (NLT)

We have the LORD our God to help us
and to fight our battles for us!
                                        (2 Chronicles 32:8)
