“Praise and Worship”  

 Psalm 52:9

I will praise You forever, O God,

for what You have done.  (NLT)

     It is only right that we worship our Almighty God with as much praise and thanksgiving as possible, because without His sovereign power, His unconditional love, His abundant mercy, and amazing grace we would not exist.  Without the love of God there would be nothing good in this life.  Without the wise council of God our lives would be lived in vain and unhappiness.  But we have an incredibly wonderful Creator who created the universe and the earth for us to enjoy with His help—He didn't just leave us to chance.  Instead, He has kept a protective eye on His creation and has been actively involved in mankind's history and future.   The Lord is our Heavenly Father and He takes care of us, whether we like it or not.  He loves us, and it's His job to protect us from the enemies that want to destroy us.  God created us to live in His Presence; to have a loving, trusting, and an eternal, life-bonding relationship with Him.  He created us and we depend on Him for everything.  He is not an absentee Father or promise breaker.   What I find so incredible about God is His unchanging, unconditional love for all peoples, for even though we rebel against His laws, oppose His ways, and mock His eternal justice, God has chosen to forgive and forget and give us chance after chance. 

     Our Savior has paved the Way to eternal life for those who humbly repent and live in obedience.  Christ Jesus voluntarily left the glory of Heaven to live in this fallen world that hated Him so much, He would have to suffer and die a criminal’s death.  Our Lord God, my friend, is the One that loves you so unconditionally, that He allowed Himself to be unjustly condemned and nailed to a piece of dead tree where He would hang shamefully naked, despised, and abandoned by God the Father so you could escape the horrors of hell.   Our sinless Savior paid your sin debt because He knows how helpless you are with fighting sin and how hard it is to change.  You and everyone else is headed straight into the pits of hell without the saving grace of our Lord God, Jesus Christ.  He gave His life so you could keep yours.  He paid the price you could not, and gave you a gift you do not deserve.

                                            A Whisper of Hope 

Honor Me, dear child…with your praise and thanksgiving. For when you live in thanksgiving, I am faithful to watch over you and guide you in ways that are good for you and glorify Me.  This is My Way and this is your life.  Let us walk together in this troubled world and I will give you My peace—a peace unlike any you have ever known.

Ephesians 1:14

The Spirit is God’s guarantee that He will give us everything

He promised and that He has purchased us to be His own people. 

This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God.   (NLT)

              for He lives from everlasting to everlasting!
