                       “Race of Grace”
 Acts 20:24
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use if for finishing
the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling
others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.  (NLT)

Many people spend much of their lives, as I did, consumed with worldliness and running to finish the race with little rest, but uncertain about its outcome.  Most of us run desperately through this difficult life-journey searching for something that will make us happy and content, but unfortunately, the happiness never lasts and we are never content.  And many times we get so focused on our failures in the search of that which we cannot find, that in time, the hopelessness and discouragement sets in and we assume that lasting happiness is beyond our grasp.  Many people live only for the worldly pleasures of this life and most of us end up so defeated and discouraged that numbing the mind will ease the pain.  And then, like I did, we begin to look forward to the end of our lives so we won’t have to deal with it anymore.   When my life become nothing more than surviving and easing the pain, I became easy prey for the Enemy and Satan had his way with me.
Without the love, strength and wisdom of God and without the mercy of His saving grace, this life with all its empty promises becomes a rather futile and dangerous race that will take you over the cliff and down into the pits of Hell.  But God has intervened and given us the Way we can redirect the race of self-destruction and run straight into the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ, the ultimate Coach who gives us the strength to finish our race with a glorious win.  When you look for the Source of all happiness, He is there waiting.   With Coach Jesus, you know how the race will end, and the peace you receive is priceless.  You will discover that this amazing race of grace is not just about winning, but it's about the glory of our God, the Most Holy and Righteous One who stands at the finish line waiting to welcome you into His Kingdom.

                                                 A Whisper of Hope
Let Me train you for the race, My child…for I will coach you safely across the finish line.  Without My help you will get lost and run to death.  But with My training, your race will not only be won, but you will celebrate with Me and all those who finished before you!

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures.
We should live in this evil world with self-control, right conduct, and
devotion to God, while we look forward to that wonderful event when the
glory our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.  (NLT)

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
                                     (Hebrew 12:1)
