“Best Way”
Lamentations
3:31-33
For the LORD does
not abandon anyone forever. Though He
brings grief,
He also shows
compassion according to the greatness of His unfailing love.
For He does
not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow. (NLT)
Our God is first and
foremost, a Holy God. One that is
perfect in every way. He is never unjust
nor is He ever unfair. He never leads
anyone into anything that is less than righteous. But there are times when the Lord disciplines
His children for their wrongs, but He does this because He is our loving,
eternal Father who wants to transform our sinful lives into righteous lives. He
disciplines, we learn. And it is from these invaluable lessons and righteous
truths, that awakens our souls and we are saved from the eternal condemnation
that is justly due for our vile conduct against our Holy God.
Many people, like myself,
spent much of our lives believing that God is a mean, angry, and unjust old
coot that sits on His throne in Heaven watching all the chaotic messes we
create for ourselves, laughing at our stupidity, and looking forward to
punishing us for not obeying His ridged, fun killing rules that are impossible
to keep. But many of these same people,
much like I did, learn the truth about a different kind of God after we
surrendered our struggling lives to the Lord in search of truth and peace. We learn that our God really loves all people
unconditionally and deeply, because He left the glory of Heaven to become a
mere human being so He could die our death.
Once you begin to understand the true nature of God and why He saved us,
the fog is lifted and you will see more clearly who God is, who you are, and
why this world hates Him.
My Way is best, dear child...all others are in vain. The world's ways will lead you away from the
Truth and into the darkness. I came to
you from the glory of Heaven, to do what you could not do for yourself. Trust in the Best Way and you will live
forever!
Revelation
15:3, 4
Great and
marvelous are Your actions, Lord God Almighty.
Just
and true are
Your ways, O King of the nations. Who
will not fear,
O Lord, and
glorify Your Name. For You alone are
Holy. (NLT)
by the blood of Christ.
(Romans 5:9)
