                           “Sin is Evil”
 James 1:14-15
Temptation comes from the lure of our own evil desires.
These evil desires lead to evil actions, and evil actions lead to
death.  So, don't be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.  (NLT)

We live in a fallen world that reeks of evil.  It was evil that separated us from God and brought sin into our hearts, and if gone unchecked, it will not only control our lives, but will forever separate us from God.  As natural born sinners, we love to sin even if we know it's detestable in the eyes of God.  We come into this world with a sinful nature, and as we grow and experience the world around us, we are indoctrinated into believing that sin is whatever we see it as being.  This is not the Truth, for sin is evil and it has a hefty price tag attached to it.  The devil is the evil ruler of this world and he has enslaved most its inhabitants without them even knowing it.  Satan has fooled much of the world with his lies, and that traditional godly values are old fashion and take the fun out of living.
You cannot escape the bondage that sin has over you if you are unaware or misinformed about it.  The world would have never known the Truth if our Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ had not intervened on our behalf. We would be hopelessly lost in this dark world of sin with no way to escape.  Christ Jesus became a man of flesh and blood to die and suffer the penalty for your sins so you, if you wanted to, could escape the horror it brings.  Jesus came to break the chains of bondage.  He gave you His Word, His blood, and you no longer have an excuse to continue indulging in the sin you love.   The choice is yours, my friend. Do you want to escape your bondage to live a God honoring life, or do you want to continue in your sin, enjoying its pleasure while it lasts and then spend eternity regretting our choices?

                                        A Whisper of Hope
Seek the Truth, My child...for it will truly set you free from the love of sin and the fear of the unknown.  I chose to come to you.  I chose to save you from death and I chose you to be a witness to My Glory and Goodness.  With the Truth, there is life and pardon, without it you will die condemned.

1 Corinthians 10:13
But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no
different from what others experience.  And God is faithful. He will
keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand
up against it.  When you are temped, He will show you a way out so
that you will not give in to it.  (NLT)

You, who love the LORD, hate evil.
He preserves the souls of His saints.
                                (Psalm 97:10)
