                               “It Ain't Easy”
 1 Corinthians 7:17
You must accept whatever situation the LORD has put you in
and continue on as you were when God first called you.  (NLT)

When you become a born again Christian, you become a child of the Living God, but your life is not instantly transformed and made easier.  Rather, the transformation can be very slow and painful. Many of us experience attacks from the Enemy of our souls that actually make our transformation even more difficult and our circumstances even worse.  This life never magically improves overnight, nor does living necessarily get any easier when you become a Christian. But what it does do, is it opens your eyes to the real truth about who God is, who you are, and where it's all headed.  When you know the Truth about this difficult life, the struggles begin to make sense.  Once we begin to know why our world is in this terrible state of flux, we can live in faith that God is in control and He knows what He is doing.  We have God's wisdom and strength to get us through the storms. And we have the confidence that the One who saved us from our sins and hell will be with us always.
It is so important for God's adopted children to live in the Light of His Truth; to remain connected through the means He has given us.  We are in a furious spiritual warfare that is not only being fought in the physical world we live in, but in the heavenly realms as well.  And this is why we must rely on our Sovereign Lord God to help us fight the battles we cannot win without Him. God wants us not focusing so much on the problems of this life, but on Him; the One who is in charge and has all the answers.  This is how we maintain our steadfast faith that God is who He says He is and that He always comes through for those who call Him Father.  We may not always agree with His ways, but we can always count on His perfect results.

                                                A Whisper of Hope
Follow Me, My child...and I will lead you safely through this temporary life and into the glory of Heaven.  But you must remain close and fully aware of the dangers around you, because the Enemy lurks around in his darkens like the evil demon he is.

Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ.
It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—
Jews first and also Gentiles.  This Good News tells us how God
makes us right in His sight.  This is accomplished from start to
finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a
righteous person has life.”  (NLT)

The Lord is a Shelter for the oppressed,
a Refuge in times of trouble.
                                                  (Psalm 9:9)
