“Fair Warning”
Watch
out! Don't let Me find you living in
careless ease and drunkenness,
and filled
with worries of this life. Don't let
that day catch you unaware, as
in a
trap. For that day will come upon
everyone living on the earth. Keep a
constant
watch. And pray that if possible, you
may escape these horrors and
stand before
the Son of Man. (NLT)
Here is yet, another
gracious warning from our Lord God and Savior Christ Jesus. Our God has given us a very clear picture
about the future end of this fallen world, because He wants no one to be caught
off guard and left behind to suffer the horrific ending of the devil's reign
over this world. As a matter of fact,
Jesus left the glory of Heaven to suffer and die what we deserve. And because Lord Jesus is God in the flesh,
His death justified our rebellion and His resurrection from the grave into a
glorified body that would never suffer or die again, became our hope. For the resurrected Jesus in now advocating
our justification before the Father in Heaven and the Accuser has lost his case
against us and we are set free from the Satan's grip and the sting of sin, if
we so choose.
This clear message from
Jesus is a warning to live every moment of your life justified by the blood of
Jesus, to live every day in repentance, and to walk in the Light of God's
Truth, because He does not want to catch you with your pants down. Our Lord God and Savior has been warning us
since the beginning of time. Christ Jesus
personally came into this wicked world to save it from the destruction it
deserves. He came to give us a new
eternal life in Him, that would help us while we are struggling through this
short life. God has written His Message in a way that everyone could
understand—that in the time it takes the eye to blink, the end will begin. Don't be one of the many, my friend, who will
suffer on that great and mighty Day of the Lord, for your options will have run
out.
A Whisper of Hope
Don't let Me catch you sleeping, dear child...unless you are
sleeping in the grace of My mighty arms. All those who are caught off guard
will pay the price for not heeding and embracing My many warnings. Be wise, be on watch, and always be ready,
for I will come when least expected.
1
Corinthians 15:52
It will happen
in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last
trumpet is
blown. For when the trumpet sounds, the
Christians who
have died will
be raised with transformed bodies. And
then we who
are living
will be transformed so that we will never die.
(NLT)
For you know quite well that
the day of the Lord
will come unexpectedly, like a
thief in the night.
(1 Thessalonians 5:2)
