“God's Reign”
Your throne is
founded on two strong pillars—righteousness and
justice. Unfailing love and truth walk before You as
attendants. (NLT)
For the time being, the
Lord our God rules from His throne in Heaven.
He is in total control of every aspect of His creation. He knows about every little detail found in
the entire universe, including all the comings and goings of every living
creature, regardless of its size or importance.
The Living God of the universe is perfect in every way. He is the essence of holiness and everything
He says and does is goodness in the purest form. His justice is pure and simple, never
unjustly condemning or unjustly rewarding.
Our Sovereign Lord, has shown how much He loves mankind by dying in the
flesh and suffering the wrath due to mankind, because everyone is guilty of
sinning against the holiness of God and we all deserve to be punished. This is our God.
God tells us that His
attributes never change. His righteousness is always the same. We can always depend on God to be God,
because He can be nothing else. Trusting
God in all things is the only pathway to peace in this world that embraces
everything that God is not. It is
impossible to trust in a world that changes with the drop of a hat. The flawed and imperfect ways of this fallen
world is fickle at best. It moves back
and forth, and up and down like the waves of the ocean. And not only that, the ways of man are evil
and wicked and it is our very nature to rebel against the very God who created
us. It is not wise, my friends, to
trust this dying world as your hope and future, because it will one day burn up
with all those who worship it!
A Whisper of Hope
I AM Holy, child...I Am righteously just and fair in all I do and
say. I never create anyone and then
leave them on their own. Sometimes it
may seem this way, but I came to your world and died your death, so you could
reign again with Me.
Revelation
15:2-4
I saw before
me what seemed to be a crystal sea mixed with fire. And on it
stood all the
people who had been victorious over the beast and his statue
and the number
representing his name. They were all
holding harps that
God and given
them. And they were singing the song of
Moses, the servant
of God, and
the song of the Lamb:
“Great and marvelous are your works,
O Lord God, the Almighty.
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the nations.
Who will not fear, O Lord,
and glorify Your Name?
For You alone are Holy.
All nations will come and worship before
You,
for Your righteous deeds have been
revealed.” (NLT)
Man is unstable in all his ways.
