“Times Out”

 Ezekiel 12:23

Give the people this message from the Sovereign Lord:

“The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled.” (NLT)

     Although this message from the Lord was given to God's chosen people Israel, before their captivity and exile into Babylon, the same message is still speaking loud and clear to anyone who will listen.  We have a gracious and patient God, but His Word is true and His prophecy is kept.  We know through God's Word in the Scriptures, that all but one of God's prophecies, excluding the revelation of Jesus Christ, have been fulfilled.  Only the LORD our God knows the day and hour that the ending will begin.  And it is for this reason that we must be prepared at all times, and keep sharing the Good News Gospel; that salvation through the Son is for everyone.  We see a world gone mad and getting madder every day.  We see people not concerned with anything but themselves and this short life.  We see the world's ways being implemented into the minds of our children, who will grow up believing that this life is all we get, and it’s all about getting whatever we can get while we can get it.

     The beginning of all wisdom, my friends, is to fear the LORD our Almighty God, Judge, and Savior—the One who holds our destiny in His hands.  Without this reverent fear, you will go about this life doing whatever you feel like doing as long as it makes you feel good.  When you believe there are no real consequences for your behavior after this life is over, you will promote your godless living to others and you will all end up living life wildly and spinning out of control. You will ignore and probably mock the One who created you, who tried to save you, and will be your final Judge. But the LORD will hold you accountable for mocking His Authority.  God has graciously given you the time and the warnings to prepare.  God didn't have to do this, but He did because He loves you, my friend.

                                       A Whisper of Hope

Know what the future holds, My dear child...I will be glad to tell you, because I am its Creator.  Once you know the Truth, you will discover how much I love you and how I long to be your God now and for all eternity.  You can live now or later, it's up to you!

And remember that the Heavenly Father to whom you pray

has no favorites when He judges.  He will judge or reward

you according to what you do.  So you must live in reverent

fear of Him during your time as foreigners here on earth.  (NLT)
