                          “Words for Life”
 Jeremiah 15:16
Your words are what sustain me.  They bring me great joy and are
my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty.  (NLT)

Not only do the words of our Creator hold the universe in perfect order so the earth is able to sustain life, but God’s words are living words and they give us everything we need for living a healthy, righteous life that is pleasing to God and brings us much delight as well.  For when we have the Holy Spirit living in our hearts, we are filled with a non-decaying, everlasting wisdom that come from straight from the One who creates and sustains all life—a Savior who personally saved us from self-destructing sin and eternal condemnation.   When you surrender your life to the Lord, He will give you an eternal purpose with an everlasting destination.   Our Infinite God is the only being who has always been, who is perfect in every way, and is the only One with whom we can totally rely on and trust with our very life.  Every word of God is absolutely the undeniable truth and if faithfully lived day to day puts you on an incredible life-journey that you cannot possibly imagine. The Word of God will fill your troubled heart with everlasting peace and indestructible joy.  God’s Word brings truth where is none, hope when all is hopeless, and peace amidst the trouble.  God’s Word lights up our darkness, turns our fears into courage, and exposes our enemies for who they are.  And no matter who you are or where you live or what you have done, and no matter how hopeless and dark your circumstances may be, God’s Word has the power to change any life at any time.  The Lord sustains and provides with perfection, and although this world is on the road to destruction, you can trust our Great and Faithful Lord God to get you Home where you belong.

                                      A Whisper of Hope
Trust My Word…dear child, for it will give you life.  I have given you My Word because I love you. I don’t want to see anyone waste away in the evil of this perverse world.  I came to give you life to the fullest and it is through My Word that you will be set free from the decadence around you.

Job 34:14-15
If God were to take back His Spirit and withdraw His breath,
all life would cease, and humanity would turn again to dust.  (NLT)

He will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

                      “Fear and Life”
 Exodus 20:20
“Don’t be afraid”, Moses said, “for God has come
in this way to show you His awesome power.  From
now on, let your fear of Him keep you from sinning!”  (NLT)

The more we discover the incredible amounts of energy that make up our vast universe, the more we should consider and understand the incredible power that our Lord God possesses in order to have created it all and is now holding it all together in perfect unison; which should then, give us a great reason to fear God’s infinite power.  He could squash like a bug with just a mere thought.  With that said, Jesus has revealed that He will unleash the powers of the universe upon this earth and mankind.  But we must also consider Judgment Day and what it will bring if we have no fear of God and live as if He doesn’t even exist.  Fear is a healthy human emotion—one of the many unique characteristics that the Lord has given us so that we could better prepared and protect ourselves from the things that threaten both our physical and spiritual well-being.  Anyone who claims to have no fear is either living in complete denial or they are mentally unstable.  We should use our God-given fear wisely though, because the eternal consequences for how we live our lives are of the utmost importance.
Although God is loving and kind and compassionate and merciful and gracious, He is also Holy and perfectly Just.   Our God has graciously shared with us how and why we should to live by His Law and the consequences for both our obedience and disobedience.  But the world has made God’s justice so irrelevant that our disobedience is now okay, because everyone does it.  People are now being taught that there are no consequences for our behavior beyond this life.  This is not so dear friend, because God’s justice is very real, just as the consequences of our behavior.   For those who refuse to fear God and the final consequences of their disobedience to His Law will live however they please, and oneday God’s wrath will bear down on them like a great ball of fire.  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all true wisdom.  For fearing God and honoring His Way will not only save your own eternal life, but others will see the Light and follow suit.  Fear and life should always co-exist in peace, because it will bring you into the full glory of God.

                                        A Whisper of Hope
Godly fear is wise, child…for it saves lives.  Do not be afraid of Me, but fear the consequences of your sin.  When you deny Me and ignore the Truth there is an eternal price attached to it.  Fearing the eternal consequences of sin is wisdom at its best, for draws you into My saving arms.

Hebrews 12:28-29
Since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed,
let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy
fear and awe.  For our God is a consuming fire.  (NLT)

Fear of the LORD is the beginning of all wisdom.

                            “Power and Grace”
 1 Chronicles 29:11, 12
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory,
and the majesty.  Power and might are in Your hand, and it is at
Your discretion that people are made great, and given strength.  (NLT)

It is so important for people of the Christian faith to believe in the power and grace of our Almighty God, especially when it comes to receiving and using the resurrection power of God that is needed to overcome our sinful natures and take advantage of God’s amazing grace.  We must believe in the Word of God and keep it written firmly on our hearts, for when we live in Christ Jesus we have all the power we will ever need to overcome this sinful world and its wicked ways.  There is absolutely nothing that our Lord God cannot accomplish through our lives in order to fulfill His will and bring about the completion His ultimate Plan of Salvation.  The Living God is the Creator and He is justly sovereign over His creation.  Without the sustaining power of Christ there would be nothing but uninhibited chaos without purpose or end.
The Lord gives and takes away whatever fits into His perfect will.  No matter how weak we Christians may feel, or how ill-equipped for His service we think we are, we can be sure that God is constantly working in and through us to accomplish great and awesome things for the future of His Kingdom to come.  The death and resurrection of our Lord God Jesus Christ is the Way for every believer to receive the saving power and grace of God.  Because Jesus lives on forever, we, too, will live on forever.  Nothing, not even the powers of darkness that rule this evil world, can stand against the power and grace of the Almighty God.  Our salvation and the promise of eternal life are protected by this uninhibited Power of God.  And by knowing these simple, yet profound truths about the Lord and His plans for you, will bring such a joy and peace into your troubled heart that you will never again fall asleep in fear.

                                   A Whisper of Hope
Know and believe…in the Power that created the universe.  I can and will accomplish all I have planned.   And you, My dear child, can be a part of that plan.  This world is powerless over you when you are in Me and I Am in you.  You need not ever be afraid, for I have overcome this world for you.

Ephesians 1:19-23
I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe Him.  This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.  Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come.  And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and He gave Him this authority for the benefit of the Church.  And the Church is His body; it is filled by Christ, who fills everything everywhere with His Presence.  (NLT)

By His mighty power at work within us,
He is able to accomplish infinitely more than
we would ever dare to ask or hope.

                        “Father's Son”
 Psalm 18:16, 28
He reached down from Heaven and rescued me; He
drew me out of deep waters.  LORD, you have brought
light to my life; My God, you light up my darkness.  (NLT)

Not so long ago my life was drowning in a dark sea of self-pity and self-hatred; despising this cursed life and longing for an end to it all.  I was sinking deeper into a dark depth of hopelessness that sin always brings into the lost and isolated life—sin that was pulling me closer to the edge of the abyss that dropped deep into an endless darkness.  The very thought of living to an old age weighed heavily on my heart and was dragging me down a dark path of depression with utter regret of ever being born and becoming the vile person I had so not wanted to become.  I was mad at God and disappointed in the world.  I was intolerant of most people and I hated myself.  But it was in this fallen state of mind and unbeknownst to me, I was in the very place that the Enemy of God wants everyone to be.  There are no human words that can fully explain the unrelenting torment that darkness brings, especially when you feel trapped and forsaken.  The best scenario I can give is like being tied up and falling into an unknown darkness that you know will end badly, and there is absolutely no escape from whatever horrors that are lurking in the deepest darkness that you are falling into.
Living in darkness is not how God created us to live, so He is faithfully reaching into the darkness to rescue us.  We have a God who has a Divine Plan for our escape from the prison of darkness that many are locked away in.  He is the Lord God Almighty.  It is God the Father’s Sovereign Plan.  It is God the Son who graciously pulled it off.  And it is God the Holy Spirit who takes care of the rest. This fallen world can only deliver more of the same darkness and death, but God can deliver you from the prison of Hell and give you life.  The only Way is in the Father’s Son.

                                      A Whisper of Hope
I bring life-saving Light, child…that’s what I do.  I know the hopelessness that darkness brings.  That is why the Father sent Me; to bring Light to you.  You will always struggle in this dark world that wants to consume your soul, but it is in My Light that you are saved out of the darkness and given the peace and strength to see you through to the other side.

2 Corinthians 4:4
Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds
of those who don’t believe, so they are unable to see the
glorious Light of the Good News that is shining upon them.  (NLT)

“I [Jesus] have told you all this so that you
                        may have peace in Me.”
                                 (John 16:33)
