                          “Truly Wise”
 Ephesians 1:7-9
He [God] is so rich in kindness that He purchased our freedom through
the blood of His Son, and our sins are forgiven.  He has showered His
kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.  God’s secret
plan has now been revealed to us; it is a plan centered on Christ,  designed
long ago according to His good pleasure.  (NLT)

Incredibly, when the Lord God redeems us, He forgives all our sins, takes away the guilt and punishment for our rebellion, and provides us with the Holy Spirit to help us gain both wisdom and insight—two very essential ingredients that we need if we are to change from godlessness to godliness.  The Bible is God's Story and it spells out everything we need to know about Him and His will for our lives, but it is the Holy Spirit who gives us the ability to understand it's true meaning and the strength to carry it out.  Even those who have never obtained any academic degrees will gain the wisdom of God that surpasses even the most educated unbeliever.  For as a believer you will understand the most absolute and basic truths and values concerning both life and death.  You will know that God is the Creator of all things and that He is sovereign over it all and controls the course of history to coincide with His plans.  You will know the reason that God created mankind and what the future holds for us.  And as believers in Christ Jesus you will develop the mind of Christ with goals and priorities that rise above the limits of any and all earthly circumstances.
Such absolute knowledge escapes the minds of unbelievers because they tend to view the things of God as being either irrational or irrelevant, or they view God with total disdain or apathy.  My dear friends, to know God and His revealed plan for His creation is easily found in the inerrancy of Scripture.  And once you understand who God is, who you are, and what the future holds, your knowledge and acceptance will usher you into God's Kingdom and a share in God’s amazing glory.  Everyday that our gracious God gives you on this earth is an opportunity to do His good will—to live a righteous life in praise and thanksgiving to God—a life that will honor Him, and one that will be lived for all eternity with the One who created it all for you!

                        A Whisper of Hope
My will, will be done, dear child…you need not look any further than the pages of My Holy Book.  For within those pages you will find all you need to know for now.  Trust in me and believe.  Do not follow the world’s failed ways, for they are filled with deceit and darkness.  Embrace this fallen world and spend eternity in darkness or embrace My Way, and live in the everlasting light of My  glory.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true
and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.  It straightens us out
and teaches us to do what is right.  It is God’s way of preparing us in every
way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.  (NLT)

But we can understand these things because
we have the mind of Christ.
                    (1 Corinthians 2:16)
