“The Key”
Psalm 119:7
When I learn
Your righteous laws,
I will thank
You by living as I should! (NLT)
It's hard for a child to
please their father without knowing what pleases him and what does not. The same holds true in our relationship with
God, because if we don’t know what pleases God the Father, our chances of
pleasing Him are slim to none. But you
must first believe that your Heavenly Father is real and then submit to His
Truth and authority over your life. Then
you must learn who God is and how to please Him by developing a personal
relationship with Him, learning and understanding the purpose of life and where
it's all headed. You must know the Truth
and live for Christ if you want to find the Way that honors God. For when you desire God and seek His will for
your life, He will draw you close and teach you everything you need to know,
for when you know and do what pleases God, my friend, you can be sure that His
blessings will be Heaven sent and eternally pleasing to you as well.
The Lord God is gracious
and loving; One who takes great pleasure in providing for those who are willing
to step out in faith and live a God fearing life. He turns no one away, but we must be willing
to receive the key that opens the heart to humility, submission, obedience, and
righteous living. As a child of the
living God we must seek His forgiveness and follow His Way with joy and
thanksgiving in our hearts. It is by
seeking God’s Wisdom that you find life—a God driven journey that is worth any
and all struggles this fallen life brings.
You will never know the peace of God or the fullness of life until you
know your Heavenly Father and follow His Way, because apart from God, your
life-journey will become your worst nightmare and one that will never end if
you refuse to wake up. There are many
ways to please God, but none is better than shedding your old life of sin for a
new life in Christ that not only pleases God, but is a pleasure for you as
well.
A
Whisper of Hope
I hold the
Keys of life…Keys that open doors of knowledge and wisdom and understanding—doors
that open into Heaven. These doors are
not secret and the keys are not hard to find, for they are all well documented
and simple to understand, but are not so easy to use.
Proverbs 8:32, 35
“And so, my
children, listen to me, for happy are all who follow my ways.
For whoever
finds Me finds life and wins approval from the LORD.” (NLT)
And you will seek
Me and find Me,
when you search for Me with all your heart.
(Jeremiah 29:13)
