God of Joy  

Psalm 47:1-2

Come, everyone, and clap your hands

               for joy! 

     Shout to God with joyful praise!

For the LORD Most High is awesome. 

     He is the great King of all the earth.  (NLT)

     No matter what circumstances God’s children are faced with, we have many reasons to rejoice in the LORD our God, for without His amazing grace, incredible mercy, and His unconditional love, this life would be a hopeless mess that just gets worse.  I believe the greatest message in God’s Word is the Hope we find in knowing the Absolute Truth; that no matter how Satan and this fallen world lashes out against us, the children of God have the Advocate who stands before God the Father as our Defender. Our Lord Jesus Christ, has not only defeated the power that sin has over mankind and the fear of dying that most of us live with, but Jesus has also won the case that the devil holds against us and bridged the gap that once stood between God and man. 

     Because of our sinful nature and the decadence of the world that surrounds us, it is rather hard to find something of this world that will bring true joy into our hearts, especially in the midst of our own personal turmoil.  The only way any of God's children can find the strength and joy to get past all the suffering and hopelessness that this fallen world inflicts on us, is by directing our focus on the True God of Hope, Lord Jesus Christ.  For it is in this Hope, through the gift of salvation, that gives us the strength to share our Hope that this difficult life is not all there is.  And by praising our God of Hope for who He is and what He has done and is still doing, will also bring us joy in the purest form while we suffer the hardships of living in this fallen world.

                                

                                   A Whisper of Hope

Look to Me, My child…to persevere with joy in your difficult trip through this life.  The impossible circumstances of this fallen life are too much for you to face on your own.  I AM the only One who can bring you true joy.  This life is a precious gift, even to those who feel it is a curse.  Knowing the Truth will bring you joy!

1 Timothy 2:5

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can

                   for our hope is in you alone.
