Lost and Found
Isaiah 1:18
“Come now let us reason together,” says the LORD.
“No matter
how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove
it. I can make you
as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as
crimson, I can make you as white as wool.” (NLT)
What a profound declaration of the Truth this is
from our holy and righteous God. What an
encouraging promise this is from the Savior who continually pursues the lost so
they can be cleansed and made righteous. But make no doubt about it, dear
friend, just as Christ pursues His lost and wayward people, so too, does the
Enemy pursue your soul and will do anything to pull you away from God, hoping
to stain you with so much sin that you will believe that God could never
forgive you. Do not believe this lie,
for God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son to be the perfect
and final sacrificial Lamb of God. This single act of perfect love and justice
is the complete atonement of mankind’s sin and rebellion. And it's for you as well.
Many lost and wandering souls are led into
a life of sin by the lies of Satan and his godless world view, which has no godly
purpose or lasting value. It's much like chasing the wind until you run off a
cliff. Most of these deceived people
pursue things that feel good for the moment, but are unaware of its
meaningless, short sightedness, and is eternally deadly. Most of our world operates against the very
grain of God’s will and many of its people are desperate for something that
will fill the empty gap and give them peace.
And there is only One Person and One Way to fill that desire; the death
and resurrection of our Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ. He sets us free from the power of sin and
death. He removes the shame and guilt of
our sinful past and gives us a new lease on life—an eternal life. The forgiveness and the cleansing power of
Christ Jesus is complete, and no one who has the breath of life is ever too
lost to be found. Complete forgiveness
and redemption, is but a breath away for anyone who truly longs for peace,
hope, and forgiveness.
A Whisper
of Hope
Come to Me…My dear child, and I will fill the emptiness that
only I can fill. This delusional world
is filled with false hope and confusion, making it difficult to escape its
darkness. But take heart, for I have
overcome the world for you and your redemption is but a decision away. I not only bring you salvation, but also My peace
and wisdom the weather the storms until the day I bring you Home.
1 John 1:9
But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful
and just
to forgive us and to cleanse us from every
wrong. (NLT)
“Behold!
The Lamb of God who takes
away the sin of the world!
(John 1:29)
