Revealed Mysteries
Daniel
2:20, 22
Praise the
name of God forever and ever, for He
alone has all
wisdom and power. He reveals deep
and mysterious things and knows what lies
hidden
in darkness,
though He Himself is surrounded by light.
(NLT)
Until we believe in the
sovereignty of our Lord God and Savior, and until we believe He knows all
things and sees all things, we will never experience life as it was meant to be
lived. Nor will we have the opportunity to experience the peace of God knowing
there is much more to this life and our death than meets the eye. When we
discover the truth about who our Creator is and why He created us, the
discovery changes our lives in ways that are so surreal, it can be hard to wrap
our minds around. And knowing that
nothing is hidden from the eyes of God will be one of the most, if not the most
humbling experience of this mysterious life. And when, for the very first time,
God reveals something we never understood before and He makes it so clear and
simple, we will scratch our heads and wonder how in world we missed it in the
first place.
When you know the Lord, you will learn to
trust Him with the deepest, most inner feelings you have and feel comfortable
doing it, because you know He already knows and nothing surprises Him. God is the
only One you need ever fear. He is a Perfect Father. He takes care of His
children and provides them with everything they need. The Lord protects the
earth from being destroyed by the vast unknown universe that could snuff us out
in a heartbeat. He keeps the cosmos in perfect tune by the power of His Word. But the most revealing truth about our God is
His love and compassion for all of us, no matter what. His love and devotion to
you is most revealed when you understand what He personally sacrificed in order
to save you from everlasting Hell.
A
Whisper of Hope
When you know Me, child... I will reveal the mysteries of this life to you. For there is better Authority to learn from
than the One who created these mysteries.
When you remain in Me, I will remain in you. You can trust My Word and believe in My
promises.
1
Corinthians 2:7-9
The wisdom we
speak of is the mystery—His plan that was previously
hidden, even though
He made it for our ultimate glory before the world
began. But the
rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had they
would never
have crucified our glorious Lord. That
is what the Scriptures
meant when they say, “No eye as seen no ear
has heard, and no mind has
imagined what
God has prepared for those who love Him.
(NLT)
May you experience the love of Christ,
though it is too great to understand fully.
Then you will be made complete with all the
fullness of life and power that comes
from God. Then you will be filled
with the fullness of life and power
that
comes from God.
(Ephesians 3:19)
