Our Patient God
Isaiah
30:18
But the LORD
still waits for you to come to Him so He can
show you His
love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful
God. Blessed
are those who wait for Him to help them.
(NLT)
The LORD is our God and
Savior. He is the only Living God. He has proven to the world over and over
again that He is not only actively involved in the history of mankind, but He
is also very much involved in the personal lives of everyone who call on Him
for help. God has shown the world His amazing mercy and grace, and His faithful
love and compassion. God is the One who provides every-thing we need for both
our physical and spiritual survival. He protects our world from within as well
as from far away. We have an all-powerful, all knowing God who happens to love
people above all other things He has created.
He created everything in such a way that His creation that would always
need Him. But unlike the rest of His creation, He created human beings in His
image so we could live with Him in the Heaven on the new Earth for eternity.
God knows we are a needy
people that need Him for both our physical and spiritual lives. We are physically and spiritually flawed and
weak in stature, and it doesn't take much to end our lives. The Lord did not create us to die, and He
wants everyone to be His eternal child. The LORD is perfectly holy and just,
and He has been more than gracious with our sin and wickedness to date. He is a patient God and gives us many chances
to give up our evil ways so we can receive His forgiveness and redemption. God
Almighty wants you to be His child, my friend. He wants to save you from
self-destruction and eternal condemnation because He loves you. And you can trust that He will continue
calling us until the end of time!
A Whisper of Hope
Call to Me, My child...while there is still time. I Am your Helper as well as your Savior. I created you for you—so you could enjoy the
glorious gift of eternal life. I can
help you overcome this evil world and become My eternal child.
Isaiah
41:13
I am holding
you by your right hand—I, the LORD your God.
And I say to
you, “Do not be afraid. I am here to
help you.” (NLT)
Wait patiently for the LORD. Be
brave and courageous.
(Psalm 27:14)
