One GOD                 

Hosea 4:11, 12

Alcohol and prostitution have robed My people of their brains. 

Longing after idols has made them foolish.  They have played

the prostitute, serving other gods and deserting their God.  (NLT)

     All peoples belong to God because He is the One who makes us and gives us the breath of life. He sustains our lives and gives us everything we need.  We belong to God much like a child belongs to their father, and He wants everyone to understand and believe this truth. God loves us so much that He gives us a free will and the ability to make sound judgments and intelligent decisions.  But the devil has taken us into the realm of darkness, sin, and rebellion; deceiving us into believing that we are gods and have the power to do whatever we like and without accountability.  Therefore, it is God who is the real enemy and He does everything He can to disclaim our godhood.  Many of the people in this world do believe they are gods, while others believe in many gods, and we can see how the decadence of this way of thinking is killing our world.  We see how manmade wisdom (foolishness) has poisoned the hearts and minds of its people, and they are being led down a path of self destruction, false hope and godless living.  And we see that most people are either too busy lusting after worldly things, or they are simply too busy just trying to stay alive to see the grace of God. 

     The sinful desires of the flesh blind us from seeing the Truth and finding the joy of the Lord that is in His amazing grace.  Instead, unbeknownst to most, they are seeking to fill the emptiness that only God can fill.  And because they know so little about the One who created them, they try to fill their emptiness with things that do not last—things that are here today, but soon fade away—things that have no eternal value whatsoever.  If you are there and do not know the One who created you and then saved you, it would behoove you to do so, because ignorance or pride or any other excuse will not stand on the final day of God's judgment.  It is foolish to ignore all of God's gracious warnings.  It is extremely foolish to follow this dying world that is killing its babies, mocking its Creator and following the devil into eternal hell. Do not contribute to your own demise and that of the worlds, my friend, by acting like a godless god, because you will be judged and eternally imprisoned!

                                  A Whisper of Hope 

I made you, dear child...but not to control you.  You can choose to follow anyone or anything you please.  But you need to choose wisely; use the God given sense and intelligence that I gave you, for your choices will either lead you to life or death; into the Light or into the darkness.

Jeremiah 10:14-15

Compared to God, all people are foolish and have no knowledge at all. 

They make idols, but the idols will disgrace their masters, for they are

frauds.  They have no life or power in them.  Idols are worthless; they

are lies!  The time is coming when they will all be destroyed.   (NLT)

                  The wise shall inherit glory, but shame

                         shall be the legacy of fools.
