Solid Rock”                                

Psalm 125:1

Those who trust in the LORD

     are as secure as Mount Zion;

they will not be defeated, but will

     enure forever.  (NLT)

     There is no One more trustworthy than the LORD our God. He is the Rock of our salvation that cannot be shaken. He is as solid as an iron mountain that cannot be moved. Whenever we put our trust in Him, we can rely on His every Word and feel absolutely secure in the Truth of His glorious Light. For when you truly belong to the LORD, nothing will ever be able to snatch you from His mighty grip—His love for you can never be weakened—His commitment never shaken. When the storms in the sea of life are unleashing their fury upon you, thrashing you about like a paper doll and you are gasping for one last breath, you will be able to still your heart and be sure that your Savior is near and your life is safely in His hands.  He is there to calm the sea with His peace and pull you into His loving arms to comfort your fears, clothe you in new strength, and get you safely to the other side where you and He can rejoice and set sail again on your life-journey Home.

     No matter how we have rebelled against our God, or how long we have lived without Him, He is our everlasting Forgiver and Redeemer.  He never turns a humble soul or a troubled heart away from His saving grace, for as long as we have the breath of life, He is with us. He never gives up searching for those who are lost at sea, gasping for life and grasping for something to hang on to that will keep them afloat until help arrives—so they won't be swallowed up by the raging storm and sink deep into the depths of the dark unknown where many have been lost before.  With the Lord has the Captain of your life-journey, when the seas get rough and throws you about, there is no need to fear, for the Savior is always near!

I Am, dear child...Your Solid Foundation...for which you should build your life upon.  I Am the Rock of your eternal life; the Way that is never shaken nor broken.  If you want to experience the life-journey that I have prepared for you, follow Me, you will be so happy you did!

2 Samuel 2-3

The LORD is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Savior;

my God is my Rock, in whom I find protection. He

is my Shield, the strength of my salvation, and my

Stronghold, my High Tower, my Savior, the One

who saves me from violence.  (NLT)

                            I will lie down in peace and sleep,

              for you alone O LORD, will keep me safe.
