Cross Message
Galatians
2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no
longer
I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life
which
I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the
Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (NKJ)
What
an incredibly freeing truth this is for anyone who can grasp its true meaning
and then embrace its significance. We
live in an extremely evil world that is only getting more evil and those who
have chosen the world rather than Christ Jesus should be thankful that they are
not dead and still have time to change their minds. The Lord gives us the freedom to choose how
we live our lives, He does not force His will on us. When you believe in God, you can trust His
every Word or you can pick and choose what fits your agenda. You can trust in the sacrificial death of the
Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, or you can deny the gift of salvation and trust in
your own goodness and hope you are good enough.
You can surrender your life to God and know that your eternal life is
safely in His hands, or you can continue down your own path that leads into the
jaws of Satan. You can choose the Lord
to satisfy your every need, or you can choose the world to satisfy the sinful
lusts of your carnal flesh.
There
are many choices put before you that seem good but are detrimental to your
spiritual health but when you surrender your life to God there is peace,
comfort, joy, and the eternal promise of Heaven. But if you remain hard headed and filled with
pride, relying on the world and yourself, there is no peace, little comfort,
sporadic happiness, and the fear of death.
You can trust the Way of God and stand blameless before the Lord on the
Day of Judgment, or you can trust the ways of the world and live in fear of
that day. When you understand who God is
and what He did for you, my friend, you will feel so liberated and thankful
that you will dedicate your life to God for the rest of your days. You can embrace the message of the Cross or
not, but either way the consequences of your choice will have no end.
A
Whisper of Hope
Never
forget, dear child…that I died for you on the Cross. Bring all your sins and failed attempts at
being good enough and nail them to My Cross.
I canceled your debt and took the punishment that you deserved. Embrace the Cross and the message is yours!
1
Timothy 2:4, 5-6
He wants everyone to be saved and to understand
the truth.
For there is only one God and one Mediator who
can reconcile
God and people.
He is the man Christ Jesus. He
gave His life
to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message that
God gave to the world at the proper time. (NLT)
We trust in the Living God,
who is the Savior of all men.
(1
Timothy 4:10)
