          God Works
Philippians 1:6
For I am confident of this very thing,
that He who began a good work in you
will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.  (NASB)

No matter what kind of struggles Christian people are faced with, or how hard their lives become, or how frustrated they may be in their faith walk, the Holy Spirit who dwells in our hearts will continue to grow and transform us into the person that God calls us to be.  And this transformation will continue in its perfection until we are taken up to be with the Lord in Heaven.  But even with the Holy Spirit to guide and reveal God’s Truth to us, there are some things that the Christian must do in order for God’s good work to move forward in this life-changing process.  You must accept the total forgiveness for all your sins through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary.  You must seek a loving and personal relationship with the Lord and stay connected to the Church.  You must seek God through prayer, reading His Word, and live in repentance.  When you are steadfast and faithful in these things the Lord will work miraculously in your life, giving you godly wisdom, fearless confidence, and the power to break away from your sinful lifestyle one step at a time.
God does not normally change a person overnight even though He has the sovereign power to do so, nor does He expect us to.  The Lord knows we are weak and the old sinful habits are hard to break and slow to change.  But He knows exactly what we need when we need it and by surrendering our fallen will to Him our transformation is in His hands.  And as you draw closer to God, the more you learn to trust Him.  And the more you trust Him, the more you rely on His help.  And the more you trust and rely on His help, the more at peace you are with this world and the part you are given in it.  But with that said, my friend, this life is never easy with or without the power of God backing us up, and many times our transformation can get quite difficult and frustrating as we face the Enemy of our soul.  But as your faith grows, so too, does your confidence, because the more time you spend with God, the more time He spends with you.

                                  A Whisper of Hope
My Spirit will guide you, child…I will never lead you astray, for I only want what is best for you.  I have given you My Word, My Truth, and My Life.  You are safe and secure when you travel this life-journey with the One who created you.

Titus 2:11-13
For the grace of God has been revealed, bring salvation
to all people.  And we are instructed to turn from godless
living and sinful pleasures.  We should live in this evil world
with self-control, right conduct, and devotion to God, while
we look forward to that wonderful event when the glory of
our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.  (NLT)

And the LORD will rescue me from every evil deed
and bring me safely to His heavenly Kingdom.
                         (2 Timothy 4:18)
