Know God
Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my
heart be acceptable
in Your sight, O LORD, my
strength
and my Redeemer. (NKJ)
We can
gaze into the far reaches of the universe, we can marvel at the incredible
beauty of the earth, and we can be awed by the complexity of life, and if these
were all we had, we could certainly reason the case for a Creator who is far
greater than our finite minds can imagine.
But believing in a Creator is not enough for us to understand why we
were created and why this life is so hard and confusing. Nor is believing in a Higher Power sufficient
to give us any purpose that would make this difficult life worth the trouble it
brings. There is only One Way, my
friend, to get the right answers that will bring you much needed clarity, peace
of mind, and eternal hope, and that is by surrendering your lost life to the
Lord our God and Savior. You must do
this because God not only created you in His image, but He is your sole
Provider who keeps you alive so you can accept the gift of eternal life that
glorifies Him.
We
must rely on the protection that Jesus provides, because finite human beings
would not survive against the incredible energy of the universe nor can we
stand alone against the unseen evil powers of Satan. If you are living this life as I once did,
just believing there is a God but knowing little else, it is both foolish and
dangerously detrimental to the life of your eternal soul. Living in this ungodly world without knowing the
Lord God will leave you empty, alone, and wondering why you were created. Sadly, most people will live this way until
they die and then discover that their earthly life is only the beginning of a
very long and dark existence—a hellish existence with no end in sight. Don't be like I was; indifferent to God,
rather than knowing Him; disliking Him, rather than loving Him, and ignoring
Him instead of focusing Him. Until you
surrender to the Lord God who created you and saved you, you will never know
what it is to truly live in the Light of God's glory.
A Whisper
of Hope
Come close, dear child…and I will protect and
teach you about this wonderful gift of life.
I will bring you peace and understanding that will help you overcome
this fallen world so you can live forever in the New World I will create for
eternity.
Matthew 11:28
“Come to Me, all of you who
are weary and
carry heavy burdens, and I
will give you rest. (NLT)
Be still and know that I am
God.
(Psalm
46:10)
